He also isn't the best player of 2008, definitely not. But he's a good player nonetheless.

Indeed the Dutch are better teamplayers and will carry a team if needed. Something i won't see Cronaldo do.

There is no doubt that Ronaldo is an amazing player, especially since Madrid relies on him so much to score but I think Messi is still the slightly better overall. Messi is also younger and has accomplished about the same amount if not more than Ronaldo. It will be interesting to see which one of them translates their club performances to the international level because neither have really done much to this point
