Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Not quite as north as Barnet. Think cafes, restaurants, (but no decent bars for some reason) lots of suburban mothers trimming hedges. People always seem to have an auntie who lives there...

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Willesden Green or Neasden?
-
Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
OOOH I know! Dollis Hill?
-
Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Not any of those. Your very first guess was closest ;) Not as grubby as Neasden, never been to Dollis Hill.
-
Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Can't think of any more... Brondesbury? Cricklewood?
-
Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Near where Benchez lives, if that helps :)
-
Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
So near my neck of the woods then. My mum lives in Gospel Oak - Do you live there then?
-
Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
No, but in between there and Barnet. There is a good view of London too....
Need to think of a prize for you if you get it right...

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Didn't I mention the huge cash prize and a candle lit dinner with Gary Glitter for the winner?

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
He should make a new album, so many new experiences to draw from. Would be a complex and richly textured work.

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....

I've no idea. To be honest I've strayed into territory that is beyond my comprehension, and made myself look an arse.
I'm going to back off now :whistling

BLAM! You got it. Muswell Hill. You have an auntie that lives there?
Not surprised you didn't get it, its like a desert island that hides from public transport.

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
No. I don't have any Aunties at all. I do think I once had a friend from school who lived there. He offered me money to take his virginity. I declined. Was that you?

I'm guessing Mulder got a semi when he read that.
Not a house, that would be preposterous.

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
No, there's no getting away from it, I'm going to have to acknowledge the Aramaic joke. Good effort that man.

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Sooooo....someone must be able to give me a route home to Barnet from Islington at 3am on Saturday, otherwise I'll have to stay at my mate's house and she lives in South London *hock, spit*.

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
I know.
Think I must be overtired or something.

Re: Am I too old and middle class.....
Thanks CG, that's really nice of you! Woohoo....King's Cross looks like a night bus away, and then it's a straight journey on the Thameslink......they run all night pretty much. Probably would rather brave public transport alone than a cab. It feels surprisingly safe at night, what with all the other drunk lary people about.

I used the night service for years and was always ok. Lots of times I had the bus to myself and just sat near the driver.
Anyways, g'night!
