Weird, i can see the things on my 22 inch monitor in my bedroom but in my living room I have a HTPC hooked up to my 42" LCD HDTV through HDMI and I know they're there but I can't see them in here. Odd??

Old Geezer. It matters a lot how you post pics. If you post using your computer as a link then everytime you are logged off nobody can see your pics. All they can see is a little box with a cross in it where your pic should be.
