Here's a quicky to keep things ticking:
King Tut died 120 years after King Eros was born. Their combined ages when they died was 100 years. King Eros died in the year 40 B.C. In what year was King Tut born?
Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see enough information here to make that determination.
That's what I thought at first. http://www.ml20.nowinbeta.org/smilies/bottom.gifQuote:

I dont think you have enough info
mathematically to solve it
however i think there is some
kind of historical clue that is
supposed to help
too bad i dont know what it is :(
You've got all the info you need (mathematically).
There are no historical clues, it could just as easily have said that King Eros died in 1940, except that would not have made much sense.
i've looked this over, we dont have enough cluesQuote:

Did a google search on it and u do have enough clues :) ,
but even then i had to get it down on paper
Lynx is correct - This is all we need. However, you need to do more than read it - You need to analyse it.
Eros was born - 120 years after, Tut died. They had a combined age of 100. Considering the 100 combined year compared to the 120 years, they could have not be alive at the same time - They lived in seperate time spaces.
The 100 years can be done in any way, but it still leaves 20 years before the death of King Eros and the birth of King Tut. Eros died in 40 BC, so Tut was born in 20 BC.
Easy when you know how ;)
Easy really, all you had to do was pick an age for eros, subtract that from his date of death, add 120 years, then subtract (100-Eros's age) and you get 20BC, no matter what age you pick for Eros.
wow sorry i'm an idiot and ur right

What has ten holes. When one is open the other nine are closed. When one is closed the other nine are open?
Nope. That's a new one bigboab.....are we allowed to ask you questions on it ?Quote:

If we are, I'd ask; Does it have anything to do with a musical instrument ?
Ah, it's unlikely many here have heard of it, even though it's rather old. ;) Maybe if they're well-read.
No, it's not a musical instrument.
:ninja:
Well, hello Wizard ! Do you have joint custody of this fine riddle ? ;)
I always enjoy a good head-banging session with you. :D
How about..........what shape are the holes ?
I know it so I won't spoil it.
It's a doozy though. Its a testiment to old wisdom.
Might that be a Biblical clue, chalice ?Quote:

Could be...
Hmmm....well if it has to do with the bible, I'm at a disadvantage. I just don't know enough about the subject. :( But let's try another question anyway; What size are the holes ?Quote:

The size of the holes are irrelevant.
In fact the size varies quite a lot.
I suppose ' wormholes ' is way off, huh ?
'Fraid so, Riddler.
I get the impression that if I don't know the Bible, I might be hooped on this one. D'ya figure ? B)
Not at all, Riddler. The old testiment is merely the source.
Religion figures nowhere in the solution. :)
OK. :) Are the holes occupied by anything such as animals ?
Nope. So tempted to give a clue that would give the game away.
We wouldn't want that would we ? :o
Well maybe....... :P
Are the holes used for breathing ?
LYNX ! TW ! ILLUMINATI ! DLING ! ANYBODY ! NEED HELP HERE !!!!
We're getting there, Riddler.
I need this explained though.
FISH !!!!! :o
The mouth opens and the gills close....
Sh*t ! That only works with fish that have 8 gill slits---like sharks. And I don't think they ever close their mouths. :(
Correct!! You're wrong. :lol:Quote:
