what should learn a lesson from oink's cheater detection.
Not yet, maybe in the future. There still lots of music l can't find on what or waffles.
With oink l would find about 90% of what l was looking for. What & Waffles it's
about 70%.
As long as you keep your stuff seeded, you should have no problem keeping a ratio at either what OR waffles
I DL music, it sits in my library and seeds til my hard drive dies (or if I hate it so much I delete it, which has only happened once or twice)
You won't see results immediately, but over a month or so, it will DEFINITELY seedback (my snatches do, anyway)
OiNK was more cosy. But What is defenitly as good as OiNK concerning amout of albums and torrents.
Just joined what.cd does not seem that impressive to me. Music trackers have lost there apeal since oink went down
what is well on the way to surpassing oink. they just need more members which in turn will increase the number of seeders.
You never know...
They're growing pretty rapidly. Can't tell if thats a good or bad thing.
If they keep going this way i don't think so...
The latest torrents...

joyNt, the case was exactly the same with OiNK aswell. and what Trippin' said is correct :)
It's good to hear then :)
Nope....Not Even Close but it will do:cry:
Content wise hell to the no.
Coding/feature wise, hell yes.
Yeah that's right. 200,000 torrents, 180,000 members
na nothing can compare to oink, dont get me wrong i think what is great but the original is always the best. Also i find there are more bugs on what compared to what there ever was on oink. Also i would agree that its much harder to seed on what. One last point if oink had never shut down do u really think people would have switched to a what.cd or waffles???
oink>what>waffles
Its very close to oink and in the months to come, it surely will.
Well, What.CD currently has 70k more torrents than OiNK had at the end. But I think it's fair to say what made OiNK great wasn't the amount of torrents but the amount of activity (torrents uploaded per day / amount of comments / threads in the forum). I think What.CD is currently worse on these things, but it has a lot more users than any other private music site, so is ahead, and is open to more members so it won't be long now. :)
I have never had trouble seeding on what because of all the freeleechs. I mean now I'm sitting a freakin' huge buffer and there are no worries and guess what? All new torrents are free for six hours. Just ain't a problem for me. Anyway, between what and waffles I've got all the music a guy could want so oink has been replaced.
Oink wasn't entirely easy to seed on either. I think I got most of my bandwidth by uploading new torrents in FLAC format (or jumping on brand new ones as soon as someone else started one). I don't think its much different on What.CD. Maybe a little harder (I don't think I ever upped something to oink that didn't get hopped on within a few minutes, sometimes on what.cd it can sit there along time and not get a hit).
I tinhk oink had a great community. The atmosphere was lovely and that cute pink look just made it better.
What is great, ive been using it for quite a while, but its pretty hard to keep good ratio though.
what>oink>waffles
I miss Oink. Could care less for what.
OiNK is still unreached, but what and waffles are on a good way.
In my opinion it does match.
I can't say it matches content wise, but I believe a year from now it probably would. I'm also able to seed easier on What that I was at Oink.
What doesn't match Oink, but it's getting better!
does whatcd have music videos? and if so how much do they have?
