There are 15 torrents on the Archive category, only, so I'd say it's practically unexistant.
STM was a good tracker some years ago, though, when it was scene only.

Music-Torrents.ro is a great music tracker ;))
Nowadays the best scene only music tracker is certainly vipmusic. It has all that softmp3 had and even more. New members are coming all the time and the site activity rises. They have free leech on MVID and MDVDR categories. Oh, and almost forgot, the best thing about vipmusic are huge and amazing collections you won't be able to find anywhere else.
Is Vipmusic strictly scene, and does it have a good archive? It's invite only I suppose?
scene-project..scene music tracker is required. (source code available)
any ideas? :p
just a suggestion though
Seriously?
Get some V0 from What for the love of Jupiter.
Here's an Screenshot of VipMusic to those who want to see what the tracker is like:
http://i43.tinypic.com/2yn33up.jpg
They don't have an Archive section, but the have Collection (discography) section, with ~120 torrents. It's a good site, they have many releases there.
I think STMusic has a good archive.
actually they do have an archive section. all torrents are shown on browse.php, but you can click either 'new' or 'archived' as seen in the screenshot above.
Are they sortable by genre?
EDIT:
I am in already
The site can't be compared to Softmp3 though, and I am unable to sort the torrents by genre on Archive category :(
-------------------
Scc seems to me better that VIPM for music.
VIPMusic:
14.540 torrents (mp3) sortable by genre.
531 video torrents
-----------
SCC:
13.367 torrents (mp3), all of them freeleech, non sortable by genres
1.417 music video torrents, all of them freeleech
--------------------
So whoever has an SCC account won't miss much
In case you haven't noticed there are nice collections on vipmusic and some contain even a hundred+ releases.
Anyway, so far i'd say it's the best general scene music tracker out there. Probably comparing to softmp3 they only have half of the content, but I believe sooner or later they will get there.
Speeds are very good, pre times are just awesome, mvids and mdvdrs are free and as the staff over there mentioned already, they're thinking about some bonus system (actually some time ago, so i guess it might happen soon).
Once again, if you don't have an account over there, now might be you chance. Before it's too late, before they set a user limit (unless there's one already, which i don't seem to be able to find).
Seeding bonuses would be a good idea, since to have a good ratio does not seem to be so easy on VIPM.
About music collections, there are some nice ones and Discographies on TorrentBytes, also, (253 torrents on Music packs) that are ratio free. There's no invite system there and it seems they open reg when some acounts are pruned, it's a good option since they have a good amount of Music torrents and the ratio does not seem to be prob.
The combo Scc, Filemp and TorrentBytes is the best one for music scene releases Imo, athough a decent Archive like the Softmp3 used to have is what I miss the most
new softmp3 just emerged...same layout and look.

i doubt fil*sharefreak would talk about it if it was a scam.
http://fil*sharefreak.com/2009/06/02...music-tracker/
It doesent work, registration was closed, maybe too quickly...
The TL daily packs are alright. I use a combination of VIPM and SCC. Serves me well.
and here too:
http://fil*networks.blogspot.com/200...t-tracker.html
The site is down, the domain is registred but it seems they don't have any server atm.
Yesterday its server was hosted in Netherlands, but today evening they have none
The site is back
looks more like a phishing attempt.
fill the details in the signup page, and click submit ---> Sorry Pal ;(
suggest you guys wait for some time before taking the plunge. Loads of trackers open everyday, most of them can compromise your other accounts.
Refrain from using the same passwords on all trackers.
on the site, they said they will be introducing invites, so stay tuned :)
yup , looks like it was open only for a day it seems . too bad many of us missed the opportunity to get in at that time .
Yeah wouldve liked to join aswell. shame. softmp3 was the bomb even though i dont speak the language , it was still easy and great layout with great releases.
VIPM is great atm.
Good to see some scene mp3 sites coming up.
It indeed is 1:1 copy of softmp3, which is a good thing, because that site has been missed, as discussed earlier. More power to them, hopeflly it will become a worthy successor with time.
vipm is the best, but maybe scenesound , in time, will catch up with softmp3, which would be a great thing!
what about this :)
http://reim.no/
the source was made public!! now can appear 100 clones!!
SceneSound seemed promising but just changed my mind since they have just banned many countries, mine included :(
The list of banned countries:
Quote:
Za. Ch. Ie. Ar. Mx. Hu. Tr. It. Pl. Il. Ro. Nz. Sk. For. Sg. Cn. Ru. Rs. De. Gr. Es. Ec . br. pt
Yup, discussed it in the other thread already. While I can still use the site, I have to agree with you on the "global ban".
