That's not true though. Registrations were open to all users, not just Scandinavians, at least twice. And they actually emphasise that there are 6 different languages which the tracker supports.
But yes, it's their right to do whatever they want with the tracker. And it's our right to disagree with it, and not being able to see any sense in it.
Since when Mongolia and Zambia -plus a bunch of countries that are not banned- are nordic?
But not a big deal, just a few countries are banned, the rest of the world is quite bigger, so whenever ppl from Benin or Monaco -two examples- can upload torrents to the site they will have enough torrents to download :P
Yeah nordic users live in Heaven not Valhalla.Quote:
because none of them trade or cheat.
especially trade.
They didnt botter to ban them because of the small number of internet users in those places,or at least ISP's.Quote:

maybe donations:whistlingQuote:
And I suppose they didn't ban Canada and the USA for the same reason
I made the account 2 days ago, everything was fine, till tonight: "Sorry, your country (ro) is not allowed, kthxbai."
their decision, but they banned some countries randomly!!
i would have understood only 2 situations:
- turn nordic, allow only 4 5 nordic countries and ban all others.
- ban the countries which would have cause problems in the future!!
But they banned in a curious way! I would like to know the criterias for this thing!
The funny thing is that you can choose German as a default language but Germany is on the banned list countries...
DIE ARISCHE HERRENRASSE! JAWOHL!
Nah, I think they just banned Germany on accident. They probably confused it with East Germany, hell I would ban those commies!
German is a relatively popular language in Scandinavia, many people can speak it. But it's not their native language, of course.
nazi pirate?Quote:

And how would you do it?trace all IP's from the east part of the country?Quote:

I didnt say about native i say about the language they want to speak.Quote:
What nordic country speaks German?... Switzerland and Belgium are not far north than Germany...

They'll have to ban the german half of Swiss.Quote:

That, and the East German part. It was a sarcastic reply to your "the nordics may want to talk in German" remark - a few stereotypes came to mind. The East German part was pretty obvious though. No worries though, all good. :)
An internationalist like me can never be a Nazi.
hahahaha
Austria, cos Switzerland is also banned.
Now I am wondering what will happen with all those nordic tourists who come massively to Spain to spend their holidays in the sun when they can't access 'their' tracker...
Or maybe we should just banned them from coming here to spend their long holidays, and problem sorted :P
Banning them completely would be a bit over the top though. I mean, you can still visit Scandinavia...I think. Banning IKEA would suffice. Especially that evil BILLY rack, that one is pure evil. Everbody I know who owns one is either a jerk, or cunning and vicious. Who names a rack BILLY anyway for God's sake?
Kill BILLY.
bad news

Sorry, Bro.
Mk...banning whole countries 'might' suck, but reading this entire thread about the banning of countries DOES suck. :stars:
Now trackers should be included in a tourism package.Quote:

Are the staff from what.cd or elsewhere? pft
What a big sticky thread went from this
A real pity that they have implemented the 'global' ban, even if I'm personally not affected. This tracker is really emerging into a great one, the probability of it becoming a worthy successor to Softmp3 is high.
It works with proxy.Quote:

Isla del Muerte can be banned only by RIAAQuote:
even if I'm personally not affected
.Cz (Czech Republic) is also banned
SceneSound is sucks - Use eMule for music.

erm...the riaa can ban who from what? :ermm:Quote:

And another banning wave on MusicVids :(
Soulseek is great for singles but it sucks when you are looking for collections/discographies
THE THREAD CAN BE CLOSED! I GOT BACK! :w00t:
