because most ADSL connections use dynamic IPs.
Helionster... we will check this issue and will look for a way to solve it. Maybe we will unblock the whole IP Class...but that's the coder's decision. I will return with an update in short time (if i find the damn coder... cause he's running around its tail and sometimes he gets lost ;) )
lol, yeah dynamic addresses, i believe you can request a ststic from your isp.
at&t offered it to me for free when i asked
There is no irony in Cabalo's post. He is quite right. Most of the ISP charge you a monthly fee (or a one-time fee) for setting a static IP for your connection.
To see if there is any fee for this kind of request, you should call or e-mail your ISP company and check if they charge any fee for setting a static ip for your home connection.
I'm sorry,my bad I read "free" where he wrote "fee" and then I got confused. I'll see to that IP issue...dependening on the weight of that fee I'll decide wathever suits me best.
that fee, at least where i live in, is quite high. it's mostly used for some small businesses who want to host a small server or need VPN accesses.
Hey Silverleaf,
Just send u an e-mail. Hopefully u got it and you'll respond to it.
Multe multumiri
I have answered to all the e-mails i received. Also, Guybrush, you sent me your computer's IP from within your company. I sent you some indications in an e-mail on how to find your real IP address and i'm waiting for your reply.
That problem shure is taking to long time to solve. Don't know about the others but i'm beginning to wonder if they'r ever going to be able to fix those "issues"?
@Helionster.. the issues will be fixed in the next weeks. Bitt has only one coder and he has a job besides coding on BiTT so its time is quite limited. That's why this issues are harder to get fixed. Also by fixing those, it may be possible to create other breaches in the site and we really don't want to get hacked or something like that. Just bare with us just a little more because everything will be alright.
@Enlightened... send me your IP address (if you do not have a dynamic one) at this web address : [email protected] and i will introduce it in a list that contains accepted IP's that can connect properly to the site.
Oh but I'll bare...it's just the wainting that got me impatitient...(after all, the site had just came back on here) He he he...
Have the probs been completly solved or it's just me?
I actually do not know :) ... because i can get the darn coder neither on phone or other means of communication. Ah well... hopefully he unblocked the access for all foreign users. I could use the feedback of others to check if this theory is true :)
For me it has came back to normal just 2 days ago. Don't know if the same has happend with others...Since it has been up for quite a time now I'm gessing they fixed those issues...Am I right you all??
back to normal, here.
and already downloading!
Down again for me...Just when I was starting to get warmed up
New url for the tracker: http://lasttorrents.org
Altough, the old one redirects here anyway...
We hope that the change will be a very good one and it will be well met by our foreign users.
down again =/
nah it works
http://www.lasttorrents.org
this is the new name of the site I guess
Nop...both of them go "time out for me"...and have been working like a charm for like two weeks or so.
yup down again :-(
It's down for all the users this time (including the major part of the staff). It will be back but at the moment some coding maintainance is made on the site.
Wonder what 's going on with this Tracker, since I posted this sometime back??
It is a great Tracker, with some great pre-times and great speeds and never lack of SEEDERS.
If you access http://lasttorrents.org you will see that Bittorrents has changed its domain and theme. All the accounts are the same like on BiTT.
first its open for sing up http://bittorrents.ro/signup.php
The wierd thing is that the torrents that I already had taken are downloading normaly and at very good speeds. The only prob is that the arrow predecessing the torrent is red instead of blue. I found that at least to be odd since It's impossible to enter the site.
it's the new domain, it's not useless... lol
when site gets back up, u should use that link, instead of bittorrents.ro coz it will have to reroute to lasttorrents.org, causing a slower path to the site.
That new address works fine. I logged in with my data without any inconvenient.
So ... to clear things up:
1. The domain of bittorrents.ro was changed and it is now lasttorrents.org .
2. You can now access the site faster using this web address: http://lasttorrents.org/login.php .
3. Your BiTTorrents accounts were also transfered onto the new domain so use your old username and password to log in.
4. The forums are now in reconstruction mode so those are unavailable. If you have any questions or problems you can contact the staff by accesing this link : http://lasttorrents.org/staff.php . (i'm also there :-P)
5. The FAQ and RULES will also be changed to English and those will be revised to get them corrected.
6. If the site is unavailable... it means that the coder is working on it and has decided to temporarily shut down the server for maintanance but it will be back ASAP.
If i remember anything else i will let you know.
yeah doesn't seem to be working atm for me =/
any update?
working fine :)

I think they are having international peering issues again. Does not seem to work in some countries.
