Apropos...A friend of mine from Italy gave me an account on PTM... cause he wasn;t going to use it ( low internet speed). In the very next day i was banned for fake...fake onto a non ratio tracker.When I asked what happened they said " too high speed...until now 300k and suddenly you have over 8MB --> fake!!! " I told them I have the account and sent them proof.They banned me even if I had everyting on seed with a 2+ ratio at every torrent....

banning a country is wrong and always will be. I recon they will lose half of their activity.
As far as I remember there was a Romanian gheeza in their staff a while ago and not anymore. It must have something to do with that too. Its funny but there are so many Romanian trackers with a lot more activity than gft. I am sure that this global ban wont bother a lot of people, obviously exept those who cant leave without their porn

ScT didnt ban any .ro's tbh, we just stopped them signing up for new accounts.

In my opinion it is so easy to prevent fake on your top trackers.Just a few ideeas
1. 50 Eur invitiation for a .Ro user ( will make the invitations even more pretious, only staff is allowed to register romanian users)Nobody will fake if they pay that much.
2. regular invitations but cheaters will have entire invite tree banned ( above him and under )

I know a nordic private tracker that are actually banning a lot of users from particulary from Romania and Bulgaria because they did ratio cheating. But this nordic tracker did not ban Romania or Bulgary, they only ban user for ratio cheating. Unfortunately, most of those who are cheating are actually from Rumania and Bulgaria.
Ratio cheating in this sense, that user have an upload speed of 130 Mbit/s and the person only downloaded 1 MB and uploaded 500 TB.

weird romania is banned there, but here in germany many are now in car theft gangs, and those should be banned too. and they do windshield washing on the street lights and insult you if you don't give them money. i suppose asking someone from romania to invite me to thegft won't work now :(
