GOD, I had so much hope for this movie, but it was horrible!

Well, I wouldn't say that this movie was necessarily an awful one, but it was informative in the sense that it provided a possible insight into the existence of 2012 aka Armageddon.
I have to say this movie was disappointing.

The director "wants" a happy family and implies that fate wants this to happen with the death of the potential suitor of said family. That was just a pure lack of any sense whatsoever. Surely there was a better way to end it than killing off the suitor.
Overall, the movie is a thriller and a "teaser" for those that actually believe in the end of the world at 2012.
I feel as if the movie was over hyped. It followed a similar plot as the War of the Worlds.

I really do not know why people are so thrilled about this movie. After watching i can only say that trialer was quite interesting, film was boring.
This movie rocks on Bluray....definitely one of my favorite movies of 2009 :D

About 2012 the movie;
it was terrible, just terrible.
When they was running away with the car, ground just behind them was collapsing, when they stop to get into the plane ground stopped collapsing down, just after they get into the plane and started engines ground started again? This kept happening through the all movie. I guess Mayan gods were having some sick fun :)
