I'm not part of the site so I don't know what types of users get invites, but such a small window of time can only promote trading, selling, rarity collecting and the like. Similar to "levels". It all comes down to the existing members of hdbits. Do they invite there friend who has been dogging them for months to get them in or do they cash in ? I find it funny when u see on blogs current hdbits members saying how good the fellow members are and the site is such a great community. Well if that is the case then the majority of invites will not be trades, sold, or to collectors.
It doesn't have to be a majority for it to be a problem.
I'm sure invites will be shutdown before the day is up.

A lot of people have invites. I have 4 for example. I'd say you get 1 permonth or maybe per 2 weeks if you're in my userclass (I think it's 50 GB downloaded with a ratio over 1).Quote:

This one day thing is however ridiculous as with time,they've managed to suppress supply that with all the demand that is out there,people will do almost anything to get in during this window.
