Definitely top movie of the year.
very good movie! i like him and recommend watch this movie in cinema!
This is easily my favorite movie of all time. Stocking stuffer for sure.
A bit overated imo
it was ok, but about @ the hour and a half mark i wanted it to end. not that it wasn't good i was just bored of it. acting was fine and the concept was kinda cool, but dreaming within a dream within a dream within a dream is just a bit much imo. very glad i did not watch this in the theatre. don't think i coulda lasted on that. very doubtful i'll give this another watch. nolans a decent director minus his batman crap. i hate his batman directions mind you. spin tops, paradoxes, and sandy beaches. 6.5/10

Nails, Nolan hasn't done much apart from Batman. I want to bash the person who thought of the idea to make Batman grumble.
I tried to watch this with while I was at least 70% awake but haven't had the time. I watched the first 20 odd minutes and was already mind fucked. Might take an early night from work and watch it tomorrow evening.
Memento ,Insomnia , The Prestige.
Actually if you want to go by that he's arguably done more than critics favorites Terrence Malick and Darren Aronofsky.Of course Nolan seems to unfortunately ( save for Batman) going down the M. Night Shyamalan path of " I have to prove that I'm smarter than the audience /every movie needs a twist/hook" predictability.
Title needs adjusting btw

The movie was really good, one of the best for this year.
Definitely you won't regret paying for it to see it at the cinema.
What's even better though is Di Caprio, and the way this guy has evolved through this movies acting better and better with each movie.
I never liked him at the beginning many years ago, but came to respect him through the years. Watching him acting in movies like the Aviator and later on the shutter island and now in inception, this guy really performs.
He shows good taste in picking the movies he's gonna play in and also makes a great acting.
I'm curious to see him in the next movie ("Hoover").
Inception definitely changed the way I dream. Hahah
Managed to watch this and have to say I was completely mind fucked. The concept was great and the mind fucking was very well done - ie not over done like some of those SciFi's.
I think I might have to watch it again to completely understand it.
Spoiler: ShowI really hate IMDb's forum structure: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1375666/...read/169792654
Spoiler: ShowI can see a sequel coming after we see the totem not falling at the end
Really nice!! I'll watch to the cinema too!!
Saw it, Really a mind-blowing Nolan's movie(like his previous ones).
Best movie of the year !
this was a very good movie because the idea of the movie was different so i like it a lot
i liked it a lot, a dream within a dream
Top movie
Like most modern day auteurs Nolan is inspired by greatness but fails to fully achieve it.More said in the scant two stanzas below than ,entertaining as it was, in the entire body of Inception .
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow-
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep- while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

I love me some old Allan Parsons Project. That's Orson Welles narrating which makes me think of another great(ish) progressive, concept rock album of the time Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds (albeit with Richard Burton as narrator) .

Btw Wayne tried unsuccessfully for a follow up with Spartacus , and although the voice talent was there( Sir Anthony Hopkins , Catherine Zeta-Jones ) it was more fail ( too synthesizer driven?) than win.

And with that the movie and music sections have just merged.
best movie of the year
It's worth only about 7/10, such an overhype
I'm officially tired of hearing about this movie. :(
Duuuuuude. I had a dream of a dream that you were going to say that in a dream... :fear:
Its one of the very best. but ultimately u can figure out who is in whose dreams. Or am i dreaming now.
I don't really understand all the hype. A movie is not good because it's hard to understand. It was actually pretty predictable and at times somewhat boring.
Great movie, just going to watch the HD version!
i like it ..was so captivant
Inception is the Movie of the year 2010 for me...it's absolutely brilliant!
Just herd they were cumming out with a sequel. It's called Contraception and is about wet dreams...
i wonder how people can possibly like this shitty movie. really.
ps: same goes for "the town".
i know what you mean and believe it or not, i happen to appreciate some mainstream movies that have no other purpose than for entertainment (25th hour, the game, flawless, gladiator, mystic river and a lot more that i can't think of right now).
what annoys me is that inception is not even intended to be an entertaining movie only, but a deep, subtle, intelligent, intellectual, complex and multilayered film. what a joke! come on, it only brings a fake elaborate scenario to the table, an unnecessarily complicated story full of inconsistencies that only fool the general public. i'm pretty sure that people that were naive enough to love this film didn't even understand shit to it. actually, inception is just a skilful mix of shiny special effects, incoherent plot and a touch of mysticism that makes people think they're smart. bravo Mr Nolan.
Now that I know why you said what you said before, I agree with most of it.But I must say, I enjoyed watching it even though I wont give it a rating beyond 7/10.
great movie!!

Crappy movie, yes. I don't understand how people can still think that he was dreaming at the end. It obvious that the spinning object was about to fall. And as I recall Nolan did in fact state that he wasn't dreaming.
