I could've even lost my account in here. I stopped torrenting back in March 2009 I think... and pretty much my post history can also proof that I've been away or my twitter account in my signature.
I traveled back n forth from Dubai, London and LA. I am an Actor and didn't really bother the internet that much since nightlifes are amazing in these 3places and the field that I am getting into. lol

Make sure you link them to your FST account for express service.;)

Due to test audience surveys this post required a rewrite to make it more believable.
I've lost my ScL and TL accounts for modding here ( I also lost my invite privileges at BitMe which was perhaps unfair but at least reasonable) . I gratefully got re-invited to TL by an ex-administrator quite out of the blue when I guess it was determined that I wasn't in fact the Devil incarnate.I really appreciated that still he didn't know me from Adam and it certainly wasn't his concern if I had membership there or not.
I asked to be disabled at Tophos at the height of the feuding here , mostly over how they like to "handle" things ,although I've since learned that some of their issues with FST were justifiable.
I got disabled at PTP :( for continuing to use my server to browse after I was warned about it .Seems that I could download from it just not browse:unsure: .
I got my only really justifiable ban from whatever the predecessor of Gormogon was called for uploading torrents to another site ,which is still strange still that particular pre-Gormogon tracker was public at the time.
Also several for inactivity of course but that's par for the course and like others their are some that I have no idea if I still belong to or not because of one reason or another I just never bothered to try and log back in there.
I'm also strangely "banned" from another invite site although I'd never actually previously been there and only found out the fact when in trying to determine if someone was selling here or not I tried to browse the site from a link.

Re: Which trackers you have been disabled/banned?
ftn, hdbits, pisexy, and some more trackers which I can't remember due to inactivity of more than 2 years, to be specific: 2 years 4 months..
recently, sdbits: staff thought that I might be using modded utorrent, what.cd: dupe accunt (??) <-- still in dark about the complete fact.

If you really were disabled due to inactivity, then what else can I say than give it a try. It doesn't matter if it's been two years or two months - if What.cd still existed by 2100 they'd still have your account details in their database. And I thought Google was bad...
-
Re: Which trackers you have been disabled/banned?
Cool, what the heck,
first ScenHD: I don't even know why, and the staff played deafh and then finally said I there was no way I'd get my account back; sad because I liked it so I could get stuff that originated on the real good trackers, and that way I'd save my ratio on those.
then What.cd: when I got banned it said something like: 'you know what you did' or something, so I didn't even bothered to try the staff; neeh, no biggie. Yes I did used to find a few rare stuff in there from time to time, but mostly I can get the same stuff elsewhere.
finally, a few weeks ago HDbits: and what a sad day that was, sad indeed :-( , but my fault I'll admit, it's embarrassing for me to say it here in this fine community, so lets say it was my wrong sharing/ratio practices, so I didn't dare go to the staff. But damn do they know how to make good hD encodes, no better out there. Although latly i can find most of their releases either in other good trackers or Direct Download sites.
All in all I would rather still be a member of those trackers
so I find it curious that some of you say you've been banned multiple times from a same tracker,
how is that?, can i get back in with a new account or invite?
yaih! :-D

You can, but that's in direct violation of most trackers' rules. Many take measures against dupers, and if you get caught, you may not be the only one who gets banned.

Re: Which trackers you have been disabled/banned?
I've lost a few throughout the years for inactivity. The only one I regret losing to inactivity was STMusic... Somehow I spaced it and didn't login prolly for like 42 days.. I never tried seeing if it was still there.. Anyone know if STMusic keeps the accounts? Heck, if it was still there I might attempt to cruise over to their support channel.
Only tracker I have been 'banned' from was PTM. I heard about it from a friend at work a couple years ago, tried going to it, and it gave me a Forbidden return code saying my IP has been banned, LOL. I'd never been there before and was banned. I'm guessing someone on my ISP or close IP range musta did something and they did a ban on my IP range or something. No biggie, I have everything I need now days, well except one, but I've done good living without it in the last couple years! :P

Re: Which trackers you have been disabled/banned?
I was disabled for inactivity at:
PTN, CN(though re-enabled later), hdcorea, TL, tehconnection, bithq, hdspain, btmusic, and maybe other sites.
I was banned from:
sdbits.
Edit:
Oh, I forgot, I was disabled for inactivity at hdbits.ro and scenehd.
-
Re: Which trackers you have been disabled/banned?
I got banned on Senegal's mom. Luckily I got reinstated through a back door. :shifty:
As for trackers, inactivity on a few sites: iTS (great site, just never found enough use for it), PTM (I spent more time inviting others than I did actually using it), Revolt (got in after the community died- I heard it was quite good once), a few others that just didn't interest me.
I'll add that I recently deleted my bookmark for RevTT. I believe they are too obsessed with making money off of material that is not theirs. Donations should help keep the sites running- not line the pockets of staff. Also, I was seeding 40+ torrents, and was not making ground on uploads...fishy. Regardless, I'm done with 'em.

I remember when those polls were becoming a regular occurrence around here. To Oleg's credit, he did eventually take a more positive approach. I find that kind of change respectable.

That's one word for it and I'm sure that the raised possibility of re-admittance had absolutely nothing to do with it.

As opposed to the retail industry .
-
Re: Which trackers you have been disabled/banned?
I don't believe Oleg had any expectation of getting re-admitted after posting his tantrum threads. He has since conducted himself in a more reserved manner, which has benefits (such as people giving you a second chance) included. Bottom line- I believe he learned from his mistakes.
The retail industry does pay for the products that it resells. For-profit torrent sites skip that whole pay step and jump straight to profit. This sucks because that money could help smaller, not-for-profit sites keep the lights on. Instead, the large for-profit sites take the money out of the community.
End users, IMO, are different. Viewing, reading, or listening to media is not consumed any more than if someone did these things at a public library.

You can't attest to that anymore than I can that he might have.
Anyway you live in a country where people go around shooting Congresswomen and judges and 9 year old girls so set and match.
Btw I learned that particular technique from hotshot .Say something stupid, ,offensive and totally unsupportable to make a point and then run away.

As far as I know only Justin Bieber is truly harmful though.

Hahaha! So, like, is that Canada's answer to roller derby here? At least we get scantily clad girls in roller derby :P To be fair, I am Canadian lite, and had the history of north America gone differently, I probably would be Canadian. America's high-five baby!

Re: Which trackers you have been disabled/banned?
RevTT
- I got banned because I invited someone from a banned country ( Romania ).
HDtorrents
-Disabled due to inactivity of my account
PTN
-Disabled due to inactivity of my account
Waffles.fm
-Disabled due to inactivity of my account
x264
-Disabled due to inactivity of my account
Tby
-Disabled because I complained about the low speed on a post. This was against their rules, so they just disabled me but not ban.
bithdtv
-Disabled due to inactivity of my account
bitme
-Disabled due to inactivity of my account
Other small trackers ( pisexy, torrentzilla, demonoid, extremeshare etc.. )
-Disabled due to inactivity of my account
My account on TL, Torrentday, xtremespeeds, what & Pussytorrents might be in the near future become disabled from those trackers, since I hardly use them anymore. Last time I downloaded something from TL was more than 8 months ago.
Anyway, I never cheated on any tracker site. I'm quite happy with those few trackers that I'm using.

Disabled account = banned account. Some people mistakenly label an IP ban as "being banned". In that case you simply say your IP got banned.

Log in once a month (or once every four months, in What.cd's case) and nothing will happen. :D

I think it's a good idea to log once per month on what and TL. I might be using them on the near future.
Concerning tby. When they banned me or disbled my account for 30 days, after 30 days I then created a new account. This incidence happened for a long time ago.

Yes, I meant small/low level tracker. Everyone can easily get an invite to Demonoid and also they have open signup very often.
