Which Anti Virus your used.

NOD32 best of the best I have been using NOD32 since the XP days no problem what so ever don't even have to run the updater every 180 days like norton

Bitdefender. Works well.

i was using spyware doctor it was amazing... but now I just let the laptop go and running the microsoft one... its worthless but w/e... hoping I can get a new laptop soon so just letting this run its life..

I'm using avast...pretty good with regular virus database updates

kaspersky for heavy pcs and avira free version for slow pcs they are top

I've tried many of them, Avira is ok but I'm going back to NOD.

I use Comodo Dragon Internet Security. Before my laptop would always get infected by those fake spyware viruses even with protection.

i got a free years trial with Trendmicro titatium is pretty good but its very paranoid of keygens etc :whistling

I use microsoft security essentials. It seems to work well for me, and since it is a windows product it updates with the rest of the windows updates and intergreates with windows nicely. It is also free and doesn't expire.

Using Nothing on my Mac except little snitch to block outgoing. On my PC I use MS security essentials which seems to work great and is free (rare for MS).
