Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
While that might be true in some cases if someone knows the password and I can scan it continuously for malware, viruses etc. and it yields results then oh well it works. but if no one can find the password then i'll move on. I've gotten Starship Troopers from the same uploader (discussed in this very thread) and got the password and then the movie.

They are all fake. The files don't exist!!!!!!!! Search again from reliable sources and don't download passworded rars. Unless it's clear in the NFO what the password is. Even then be cautious

Some of those do seem sketch because they came out very recently, but I think your approach to this is too all encompassing. There have been cases (many of them in fact) where people have looked for passwords and they have yielded working files, but to say that all files that don't have passwords clearly stated in the .nfo is faulty logic.
-
Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
It's also a theory worth using. The files could be found without the use of passwords. If not the chances are the others are fake. Movies don't usually come solo there are usually a few sources if they are real. Without passwords too.

Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
Anyone got the password for Game.of.Thrones.S04E02.1080i.HDTV.MPEG2.DD5.1-NTb ? I looked long and hard for a decent S04E02 that wasn't pulled already when I got in from work on Monday, and this was the only one my provider (usenetserver) had left alone.
Anyone got any better recommendations for a usenet provider that doesn't pull stuff also? I'm due a renewal soon and I have to be very quick to grab anything with usenetserver.

TV stuff (in particular 'paytv' stuff, and in extreme particular 'Game ot Thrones') posters are running a 'quick as you can' gambit, which in other words, if you don't have a grabber set up to scan (usually a particular) newsgroup top grab as soon as it's posted, you're 'out of luck'. Usually, you'd have to set up a dedicated pc/machine to do the work. They don't care that 24/48hrs later, it's 'history'.
Either that methodology or, scramble the name (maybe including rar encryption) and post the 'keys' on a pay-walled site somewhere; exactly where, who know's but there may be a 'hint' as to where in the scramble-name.

I visited the password site one day to check out the fees and the page was open to anyone (http://www.newddl.org/vip-download-new-nzbs-files/), I used the passwords & now have evry film working. It only lasted a day though. All films that I D/L via Binsearch lead here, they must be raking it in?

Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
That kind of blatant monetizing is bullshit. He'd be obfuscating his posts, but then he'd lose all the site traffic he gets from the search engines. Look at the affiliate terms on that GetNZB site, I'd say he's doing well for himself.

Get a block account at Tweaknews, they're based in The Netherlands and it takes them a while before they remove a take down request. I used them as a backup to supplement my main news provider. You use the block account when ever you need it, like in this instance. The original post of GoT is probably still there.

Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
Although I don't normally solicit anything from anyone... I have a hypothetical question regarding a file from NZBROYALTY... if I found a file, let's say, "The.Ren.and.Stimpy.Show.Complete.DVDRip.x264-SDxT" for example and I wanted to locate a password associated with that archive, where might I find that. Once again, hypothetically, if one were to run a brutforce attack on said file using ARCHPR 4.54, it might take a VERY long time to discover the PW... for anything over 5 digits, it could take a VERY long time. So, I thought that if I was ever presented with such an issue, it would be nice to be able to locate a PW for the files/archive... for instructional purposes only. LOL! So... what are the odds on this one? :) Thanks for any and all (useful) input.

Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
Any replies back with this yet mate? Would be interested in getting all of Hawaii Five-0 myself...... How do we find out what group or site M6 is posting to?
-
Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
Borusa,
I had one answer... unfortunately not the correct one. I am not sure where one might find the missing/gone passwords from NZBROYALTY. I was hoping on having some luck here. I will keep you posted. Cheers!

gumpboy, I saw that the M6 passwords were posted on AYBABTU until that site shut down. Sorry, I have not been able to find any current site for them, ... and I have looked. I would also like to know the answer.

Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
I was also using AYBABTU and since it is gone I can't find its replacement, but it must exist because the posting is continuing

The topic says:

Any/all requests for a specific NZB or password should post here.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Ninja edited my posts until I hear from the powers that be on that.

Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
I'm trying to find the password for "Now Thats What I Call Music 1-81 Flac part 3" from NZB Royalty. downloaded it ages ago and forgot to unrar :( i've dug around and found passwords for part 1 and part 2, but cannot find this one. Can anyone help?
-
Re: NZB Passwords Request Thread
If I have the password, how to I post it in order to download nzb?
-
Re: NZB Passwords Request Thread
this is just a password request post my friend, not a link for nzb files (against forum rules i think). a quick google will find them though - they all start "[NZBROYALTY] PWD" or similar

I looked for weeks for that password, but no joy.
However, all the seasons are on usenet, just use something like NZBINDEX.NL to search for terms like "x-files s05" or "x-files S07"
As a head start have a look at the attached RAR. Thats seasons 5-9 for you already.

Re: NZB Passwords Request Thread
Here's one I tripped across the other day, no hints from what I can see:
The.Package.1989.1080p.BluRay.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.2.0-LCHD
The posted rar's are "zx1000123456_1" in a.b.multimedia, the 'poster' is "zx1000". It appears that no combination or wackiness yields the pw. Obviously sourced from some 'pay' site, but no idea where or what. May be this 'nzbid' site, whatever it is.
More Info: Apparently sourced from some Torrent, the poster pw-rar'ed the thing, and posted it to usenet. Kinda thanks for nothing. If I can't get the pw, I can get it and repost in a couple of weeks or so, but really.

Re: NZB & Passwords Request Thread
Hi !
a.b.hdtv post now many interesting 2160p movies releases and many of them in my natural language (french), but all are systematically "RAR passworded" archives...
Are there any "general way" to access to these pass (private site or something like) ?
-
Re: NZB Passwords Request Thread
The problem is the passwords are probably only accessible from pay websites that are invite only. They are very suspicious of anyone they can't verify. Let the wrong person in and the whole thing gets shut down and people go to jail.
Maybe it's time to use a VPN and torrents.
