Walking Dead best show on TV at the moment.. IMO
Didn't you mean "Arrow is by far the best show out to watch right now if you are a spastic 13 year who doesn't understand the basics of plot and pacing and has no real reference point on which to compare it to except maybe Transformers and Adam Sandler? "
In other news,ffs.
No it's not.
As I don't watch everything on TV I'm not really in a position to say. While I sporadically enjoy what they do on The Walking Dead ,subjectively speaking it veers into "not good" as often as it does "good" territoriality.
As for "the best " show if you believe the critics via the Critic's Choice Award nominees it would be one of ..
The Americans
Breaking Bad
Game of Thrones
The Good Wife
Masters of Sex
True Detective
I would venture that shows like Sherlock,Fargo,House of Cards and Orange is the New Black would generally also be considered superior to TWD
Personally I like Penny Dreadful (so far),Justified and GoT but like you that's more opinion than anything.:)
I really should have elaborated if I was going to ask a real question. I decided that I had it when they began integrating attractive mail-order Russian bride into the plot. It felt like they stopped introducing anything cool or interesting at that point and that they lost whatever it was that prompted me to love the show.
great shows :)
I watch it some Canadian cable channel that is at least two years behind so I really don't know.
Not a fan of binge watching as a good story deserves to be savored not guzzled (yeah I'm talking to you ,fagMeg) so don't do something silly and suggest I download it.
Not that you're going to read this but what exactly is the purpose of your post?
I believe what we've learned here is that Idol savors cock.
I gave it 2 1/2 eps before deciding to wait. Not entirely ready to give up. Seems there are enough canaries here so I don't have to test the mine myself. :)
Queue:
Mad Men (through 4 eps of 1st season)
Americans (downloaded; probably begin tonight)
Blacklist (downloaded; start soon)
Also working through most of Mads Mikkelsen collection.
Have you seen the show Fargo? Based on true events in Minnesota, really quite excellent
No it's not but it might be based on a 1996 film of the same name.
The plot for Fargo the movie was based (according to the Coen brothers who wrote the script) on actual crimes, the major one they based the story on was the murder of Helle Crafts in Connecticut in 1986. This is murder is famous because her husband used a wood chipper to dispose of her body.
By the same reasoning then Under Siege was based on Shakespeare's Julius Caesar because both involved knives.
Premieres tonight.
The books were exciting,if not especially well written. At least the vampires were truly horrifying.

Breaking Bad was the last mindblowing series I've seen as of recent. If you haven't seen it yet i'd definitely recommend it
The Strain built a lot a momentum after the obligatory "introduce the characters" premiere.
Been a while since I read the book(s) so a lot of it is fresh for me.
Especially digging on the aged Jewish vampire fighter and how that ties in with the Second World War.
Bad things are going to happen.berry bad things.
PS As previously noted, vampires are seriously horrific.Even little girl ones.
She sucked her dad .So child porn and incest.
I suppose they can get away with stuff like that on AMC as it's not a real network.
BBC's In the Flesh is a different take on the zombie genre, and quite good.
I am watching "24: Live Another Day". Non stop action...
Enjoying crossbones at the moment.
I like The Americans been Renewed for another season
Defiance is pretty good
Started up watching crossbones, pretty entertaining
Game of Thrones - good one
Game of Thrones - this is a masterpiece

walking dead, true blood, suits for me right now
Scandal
canadians are kicking ass with continuum
Yo Meg (or Idol) you get a chance to watch The Knick? I posted how much I enjoyed it, curious how you sour pusses took to it? :P Really great production values. Ridiculously good soundtrack.
I can't even find your post on it, ps. Looks like it's got potential. I'll add it to my watchlist and let you know. :)
Yeah like I'm going to given you an answer after being relegated to an afterthought. :ermm:
Look I can deal with chalice posting that Mulder is the "funniest person on the board" as I've observed that chalice is a bit slow and so obviously doesn't "get' the type of highbrow humour I'm putting out,but when some last comer moderating type cunt slights me in the very section I created through the my own sweat and blood then well I think it's obviously time to instigate "Operation The Fires of H E Double Hockey Sticks" and start checking off some of those names I've been mentally squirreling away on my "People to kill before I die" list.
You crossed the wrong crazy person,my friend. You crossed the wrong crazy person.
Not bad.Could be better.
I especially like their song My Sharona although Good Girls Don't isn't bad either.:)
I like Dr. who season 4 with Tom Baker
