Can you be a little less vague because I'm sort of dumb and can think of at least four.
Also SCL banned my account simply for being staff here even though I've always been vocally against trading.Apparently to my surprise this is a forum entirely devoted to trading and absolutely nothing else so to simply be here you then de facto support trading. Which sort of makes the same kind of sense saying that because Donald Sterling happens to be racist then the entire NBA is against blacks.
Anyway as it rid me of one more tracker staffed by people with the mentality of children , in retrospect ,thanks.
edited for obvious reasons .

No I have Hep B sadly :sad1::sad1:

Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
I'm thinking of removing the "no Pms" stipulation because nobody seems to be paying attention to it anyway.
In lieu of that all PMs must, without exception contain a photo of either your Mum or sister in some state of undress.

Here's your problem, Idol. Everyone either thinks they know you, or don't understand the word 'verboten'.
Just say that people either need to post in the thread or know you personally. Anyone who sends a PM who doesn't fall under the actual definition of "personally" gets their PM(s) posted in the thread verbatim.
-
Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
I do racist not Nazi which probably explains why I don't understand what "verboten" means either.
Seriously, I thought it was some sort of subcompact car.
Also since this thread is not getting the kind of response that I was hoping for I feel I need to up the ante.
I now will be giving away my account to FSC but there are a couple caveats.
1. I've forgotten all information about the account so you will have to find it for yourself by typing random letters.
2 When you get there and start impersonating me don't be surprised to discover everyone there hates you. :blushing:

Since we're football buds, dion I can give you the hint that some of the letters are possibly vowels and some of the letters are possibly consonants.
Not definitively though.

Goes through list of trackers........... *disabled due to inactivity. Wow.. I'm spoiled with choice.
This whole departure post made me suddenly just remember this scene from Quo Vadis 1951
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYpKFMFNqXQ
Starring IdolEyes787 as Nero and FST members as the Christians.
Oh well.. something will surely suffice.
The finger pyramid of evil contemplation :yup:

Hello. Glad to hear someone finally living his dream, good on you mate. Live long and prosper. :)
Regarding your invites, i want something...but i forgot what, i remember that over 6-7 years ago you made a giveaway about something i really needed at the time and haven't gotten in until today. Buuut i forgot what it was, i think it had very niche stuff about experiments, doc's and recordings, but i can't remember the name. I'll pm you if i remember what i'm rambling about.
Anyways, have a good trip and a happy adventure dude, good luck! :)

Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
IdolEyes787 can you help me to join thegft? I opened a thread yesterday: http://filesharingtalk.com/threads/458247-TheGFT
as I said i used nzb before and thegft would be my first private torrent site. would be nice to get in or i will wait until open sign up works aigain.
-
Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
I was a member there for like two weeks several years ago but didn't particular like it as it was all scene then and the torrent activity was minimal.
Could be the greatest thing since sliced bread now for all I know but sadly for you I'm no longer a member.
Personally and this is just me and maybe not applicable to your situation , I would create a request thread for something like IPT or Torrentvault or another one of the easy to get into, huge userbase general trackers. Likely have most anything you want and negates the need to jump through hoops. If find you don't like it then at least it's a decent stepping off point to try and get into something else.
-
Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
^Agreed on both the GFT assessment and the rec for IPT. IPT's owner is as scummy as they come, but it really is the best site for content. The p2p encoder groups who call it home get stuff out ASAP and in good as possible quality.
I'd go elsewhere if there was an equivalent option. Sadly, there is not...
-
Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
FL is one of the alternates of ipT , content wise and user base wise. lots of freeleech , only downside is ,its interface is in romanian , but still easy to navigate.
other option is TL . long retention of scene , if you looking for movies only , i might get you into TC .
-
Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
I have heard plenty of good things about FL. I'll keep it in mind as a potential replacement, but IPT is serving my needs- I just take a hot shower and try to scrub away the dirty, dirty feeling it gives me every time I use it. :fear:
I have TL, which is good except for its lack of p2p groups. There's some great early stuff being released out-of-scene. It makes no sense for a tracker to exclude it.
I was a member of TC for a while. Good site, but I got bumped out for lack of use (IIRC).
Good suggestions, and I appreciate the consideration, saqib. :)

You can also add Linkomanija to the list of "trackers that are great but in a foreign language and thus don't get much mention".

FL sucks. The mods warned me countless times just because I'm smarter then them. Also, they took my invites away because I invited 5 guys who got disabled, but they didn't took into account the fact that some members invited by me have made donations.

Congratulations. You have just won an invite to DB9.:yahoo:
To collect your prize you must be sixteen years or older, a resident of some godforsaken country that's not Russia and answer a skill testing question.
Question. In the Faust legend , where can Mephostophiles be found?
1.Mephoste
2. Lilliput
3. Denmark
4. Germany

Re: Farewell to FST. Literally the greatest giveaway ever(and ever is a really long t
It never occurred to me until just this minute but why is it "bass" ('cus phonically that's bass) and not as it's pronounced, "base"?
A mmmm.hm account to the first person who can give me a reason and then convince me that reason makes even the tiniest bit of sense.
Warning.By even mentioning mmmm.hm I put myself at risk of incurring the wrath of some ghey internet avenger.

Checking etymonline.com, we find:bass (adj.)
late 14c., of things, "low, not high," from L.L. bassus "short, low" (see
base (adj.)). Meaning "low in social scale or rank" is recorded from late 14c. Of voices and music notes, from mid-15c. (technically, ranging from the E flat below the bass stave to the F above it), infuenced by It. basso. Meaning "lowest part of a harmonized musical composition" is from mid-15c. Meaning "bass-viol" is from 1702; that of "double-bass" is from 1927.
And looking at base, the adjective:
base (adj.)
late 14c., "low, of little height," from O.Fr. bas "low, lowly, mean," from L.L. bassus "thick, stumpy, low" (used only as a cognomen in classical Latin, humilis being there the usual word for "low in stature or position"), possibly from Oscan, or Celtic, or related to Gk. basson, comparative of bathys "deep."
http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?...wed_in_frame=0 So bass in the musical sense has its origins in base, and the current spelling is influenced by the Italian basso. In other words, the spelling changed out from under the pronunciation.
Best answer.
Now, other than that time those times that I secksed Dions mom and she said (and I quote) "mmmm.hm", I have even less knowledge of that than I do deep bass fishing. :idunno:

Following the example of Italians is your attempt at making sense?
