You appear to be a delightful young lady. You have a very sexy way of posting.

And so clean-shaven for a lassie, too. :)
Interesting. I don't have any reason to actually like you. Near the beginning of my postings here I've observed alot of people including you. I've noticed your disposition towards correcting one's grammar or spelling so I decided to post something (incorrectllly spelled) "near" where you post....and it did surprise me that you not only corrected me but had a smartass remark for it.
Other than that and numerous other cynical remarks I have come across made by you, you have some good postings. Your choice of words is a matter of choice. You and others like to use seldom used words which is great at keeping out puerile responses but that, transfused with the avatar of Columbo or Sarek paints picture of imperiousness and self impotance, I mean self-importance. Of course they all symbolise a form logic that you undoubtedly show once all the other offal is waded through.
There are others similiar to you like j2k4 and hobbes (to name a few), but they seem to have fun and don't seem to be English teachers.

That Hobbes.......
He is a picky bastard.
The funny thing about J'Pol (though he is picky also) is that he is the most fair-minded individual on this board.
And fie on us for desiring the extra syllables; one doesn't stumble across a captive audience in the street, ya know?
Where else are we to expound, if not here?
BTW-Busyman-You throw it around pretty well yourself, though not as often as WE would like.
Could we respectfully urge you to take your higher tone a bit more often?
It's quite something to see. :D

Btw, i think that's "impotence". ;)

I was just joshing with my own words. I'm just a guy from Washington D.C. that likes to say crap or shit instead of offal or detritus (but can say either). Furthermore, I don't like smartass remarks because someone spelled a word wrong.
It reminds of the snobs in college that tried to talk down on me with big words not knowing that I knew exactly what they were saying and would just as soon cold knock them out if not in a public setting. :D
Everyone has their own style but don't correct mine.
I care about what they said, not whate they said.
I can, when talking to you j2k4, use reallllly capacious words if that makes you feel better. :P (horrible use of capacious, isn't it)
Hey lynx, there are other spelling mistackes in there. Please oh please can you point them out?!!! :lol:Quote:

Most things i would point at, are allready presented in this thread, but one:
Your obvious vanity, up to narcissistic proportions.
Doesn't stand in the way of you being one of the funniest members for me, though
most of the times not where you meant to be........ ;)

Hmmm .... Things are kinda weird with me.
I have a load of respect for J'Pol ..... feel like I come a long way with him.
Though I've never actually spoken to him, I look up to him, reminds me of my dad and I guess thats how I see him, however weird that sounds.
He's a genius ... seriously. Often confuses me .... but a genuinely decent man and there's no one else like him. He's unique and the board would be notably different without him, wont find many people like the dude.

Hmmm, in light of some recent shit stirring by J'Pol it seems, and I hope I'm jumping the gun here, that he is not only a smartass but an asshole as well. I had no idea before of him posting pics of folks.
Don't get me wrong, putting pics on the internet and NOT wanting them seen is not very smart but I am thoroughly surprised that HE (J'Pol) posted them.
Flaming someone is one thing (I've done it plenty) but that is utterly despicable.
I've refrained from posting in here before because I like JP, and didn't want to burst people's bubbles.
JP is many things on this board, including a shitstirrer, not that there's anything wrong with that!
To say he's always fair is bullshit, he's not. Wouldn't it be boring if he was?
The fact that he's well educated is neither here nor there. You don't aquire common sense from books.
We are all many things to many people on this board, as in life. Some people we flow with, others we bump up against.
I measure JP, and others, by how much I would miss them, were they to leave. I would miss JP.
:)
maybe you would like to post a sonnet about jp? :PQuote:

There probably has not been one incorrect word said about JP in this thread - good or bad.
He is all of the above and more! I challenge anyone to say he's dull though! or that hes not a key figure - even if you see him as a villain.
This would be one fuckin dull place if everyone was always nice and bland! puke!
Fugs, would you please be so kind as to stfu. :DQuote:

You're probably better off not knowing, Fugs. I wish I didn't.
Well I wouldn't and I see there has been alot of J'Pol asskissing because he such a good poster. Even with my original post in this thread I didn't necessarily dislike him (I was pretty much neutral) but now he confirmed he is a childish old man with a dictionary next to him and a lack of common sense.Quote:

you can have a bit of my cheeez roll too, lynx - but only a wee bit! I'm saving some for tomorrow's dinner *Mouse puts the rest of the roll in her pocket to nibble on later
Keeping in topic with the original post, after all - he did ask!!:
My opinion is well documented and nothing so far has changed my mind.
However, if he wishes to contact me, AussieSheila, Honey, or any of the others he has sarcastically insulted with an appology explaining why he has coerced others into thinking we are the bad guys, then i might re-think. Some of the "gang" have taken this to heart, others have just put it behind them - i am saddened and maddened at this attack on a lovely bunch of which i am proud to be a member of.
Bending words and using fancy phrases to justify something, just because you cannot admit you are wrong, is in my own opinion childish. But i guess he's too old to change that now.
Some of you mention "all of the above is true" and even "boring he isnt" - words to that effect - it allmost sounds as if you look up to him - im sorry for you if that is the case - he has coerced many this way, offering the apple so to speak!
BTW - i have absolutely no problems with what people think of me about my defence and attack at him. I will continue to defend what i think is right.
Case closed for my part untill such times J'Pol is willing to parley - a lot of people have been hurt - its gonna take serious talk to change that.
Peace
UKMan

Did you do well in grade school sausage king? You excel at primary school humor.
Something to be proud of when all else has failed you I suppose.
Grade school? Primary school? Are these special Inuit schools you went to? We don't have many Eskimos in Australia, it tends to be too hot for you, you'll have to explain.Quote:
