I can imagine SportsWorld Area Moderator FuNkY CaPrIcOrN
closing topics in both Underworlds of Sportsworld;
Soccer - and Footballworld.
There would be no need for any other Topics or Forums in the allmighty Sportsworld.

just that here we got NASCAR and 1/4 mile drags :D
think all drivers deserve their props
did you ever see when Gordon and that F1(cart?) driver swapped cars for a day?
both admitted the difficulties of the others' car/sport
:w00t: OH YEAH, DAYTONA 500!!!!!!!! :w00t:Quote:

i know that i don't have the skill it takes to drive a top fuel dragster, a nascar, an f1 car or pretty much any 'fast' car well, but seriously, it takes so much more skill to drive an F1 car to its limits than it does to drive a nascar...
i've not seen any car swaps recently...you got a link to the article or a video? :)
know Gustavo Treyes??
:w00t: OH YEAH, DAYTONA 500!!!!!!!! :w00t:Quote:

saw it on ESPN or the Speed Channel last (03) season
maybe i can find it in their archives  i'll check in a bit :)
but it'll bust your bubble though
the thing is with NASCAR the cars weigh about twice as much
and dont have the aero packages, low profile, etc. of F1/Indy/CART
but then the open wheeled cars corner so hard the driver takes a beating worse
to me its a toss-up
(if they let me drive either car i'd shoot my wad all over myself    )
and oh boy, a top fuel? they'd be scrapin me up with buckets,
but i'd die with a smile and a woody
real men don't wear several layers of padding to go out and run about a field ;)Quote:

that's what i mean...if you're giving the choice of driving an F1 car, 600Kg, 900bhp, 19000rpm, 0-150mph in 6 seconds, 100mph-0 in 1.68 seconds, 4g cornering forces or a nascar, which would you pick?Quote:

nascars make a nice sound, but as racing cars, they're rather antiquated :)
:frusty:
Ok enough of this!Give us a Poll and then give us SportsWorld!
:frusty:
:01: Then they can have a Thread for F1 vs. Nascar and Soccer vs. Football. :01:
 :P

yeah, that'd be somethin
i'm a Hendricks fan pretty much
Gordon, even though it seems the world hates him
Johnson, f'n rocks and only a couple of years into it
Vickers, a new kid theyre bringin up from Busch Series looks pretty good
but feckin Ryan Newman? holy feck!!!!!
what'd he win, 8 or 9 races? with all the bullshit NASCAR's pullin to even it up?
wow, havent seen that since Gordon came up
and the older dudes are cool too
Wallace, Marlin, Elliot, Martin, etc.
wtf, im just a racing fan all around i guess

theres always the chance due to a "stock" setup of feckin it up
(not really all that "stock", but oh well)
and pullin 750-800 hp out of a carbeurated V-8, nice :)

750bhp from 27 litres, that's not too bad a specific output
:)
f1 cars produce 900bhp from only 3 litres, naturally aspirated :o
and the cars of the 80's produced 1000+ bhp (renault got a spike of 1500bhp) from a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine :w00t:

dude, like i said, i give em all respect (even envy, i'd give my left nut to be in their shoes)
and its true, NASCAR runs 355ci, about 5.8 liters or so,
but theyre carbuerated, not injected
and they'd still do 230 mph or so around Daytona if....
NASCAR would wake tfu and get rid of restrictor plates!!!!!!!!!!
but hey, were here in support of making a sports world arent we?
we can get to all this so and so vs so and so later  :P
or not, we can just blow this thread up until the mods give in
ya forgot this one FC :01: ;)
 Ohhh the MODs are going to kill me.I can hear Jetje now when he gets on later( ).I better get to the Store and get some Beer in me before they yell at me. :huh:Quote:

:01: This is the real SportsWorld Thread!Where the chaos began. :01:
:D Just think about it.With the SuperBowl coming up we can get some Bets on.With Pay Pal it would be easy.We can have a Sticky of the Betting for that week or something.
I wanted to do something like that with the Kentucky Derby last year but did not get around to it.
Ohhh yeah.SportsWorld is going to be cool. :D
:01: TVWORLD :01:
Well seeing that tvworld got the most votes in the poll................... ;)
Why do we need a TV world we've already got Movieworld and that place is pretty much a disaster. :(Quote:

I say we get rid of Movieworld and put Sportsworld in it's place :)
;) These guys with their Porn are trying to take us down.We have to show that Sports is needed. It hurts nobody. No License needed.
:01: SportsWorld! :01:
Yeah, SportsWorld gets my vote. :box:
i like movie world even thought all you hear is how do i convert this file or i cant see the movie.
its a shame that klite has lost alot of movie sharers and know there are very little who are willing to share :(
it would be much better if people actually discussed movies old and new then movieworld would be good
sports world is a very good idea much better than tv world (lame) and pron world (vertually impossible because of age complications) sports are an on going thing always being updated. there are english and american sports that could be shared personally i love basket ball and would appreciate a easy way of keeping up to date.
go sports world go :boxing: :01:
yeah, and see, thats all software relatedQuote:
