How Do You Organize Your Music?

I keep all my regularly listened to audio files in one folder (My Audio). From there the trend is file_type\artist\[year] album. So for example,
C:\My Audio\1 mp3\Cut Copy\[2008] In Ghost Colours

I order By genre and What is in my ipod now

/Music HDD/Different Genres/Date/Alphabetic

order by genre (house,hip-hop,dance...)

I don't have much music in my PC. I use spotify so everything I have I have put in one folder.

I put all songs into itunes, and then I delete whenever I hear a bad song... Have just about 25gb to go, had about 250gb in the beginning

On two partitions, one with some folder with categories, other one for sort.

i have a partition only 4 that... so ... is not so hard

I organize by HDD>Artist>Album

If I was to start all over again though, I'd also most probably choose to sort by Genre, but I've downloaded way too much to try and organize it all again.

I have so many music that sometime i can't find it where to put,so i go to google download again..

Each different album has a folder.

In iTunes, each different album has its own playlist.

They're all in one big main folder on my dekstop named "music".

Every singer got his own folder

I keep all music backuped on DVDs and I copied these because I listened it a lot last few months.

Me too. I have different folder for every album on my PC. :cool:

tag & rename

They are all in one folder but the music player organises them according to album included them .

main folder: all tunes
subfolders: band/artist
subfolders: album

F:\Music. In my Music folder i have organized everything in genre. And too make it clear i only have Lossless formats (FLAC) in my collection because nothing else is worth saving.

In different folders (since recently), where every album is a diff folder.
Before I just had all of it in one folder and just organized the tags. so now I have a few folders and a shitload of mess. Maybe, someday I'll organize it.

not that ORGANIZED , all to F:\ directly

each album is in its own folder inside that artists folder

c:\Music\Artist - Album name (year)

I have everything in 1 folder
