I wish the 'Stars' would come back. :)

I don't really see what difference it makes, whether the stars are there or not. The title is there, the post count is visible, so, what would be the point, except for one more little thing to load and get screwed up.

It would have to be a NO, just due to it's pointlessness, like my reply and like the reply of all before me.

Agreed. The we should rotate having and not having stars. :frusty: :blink: :wacko:

Tbh there are only two issues to weigh regarding stars and that is the encouragement to spam to get stars vs. making certain folks on here feel special because they have them.

Proper moderation can defuse the spam a bit and encourage more meaningful posts. If teh board is moderated like when I joined then this would work out fine. ;)

Just out of curiosity, how difficult would it be to add a karma system ala (for example) GameFAQs, where for each day you post you get a karma point, and then base the stars on that?

Just wondering as it could be a decent mix between post count & how long someone has been here. As long as it can be done for course. :unsure:

is it possible to make average posts in profile count over just the last two weeks rather than a member's lifetime, or is it like that already and i'm slack?

Stars are so sad. I give this thread 1 star.

I would like the type of stars to wait as I am trying to find some that looked very nice as this seems to be go now...
