Wow, this thread is old... Nowadays I´d recommend the "Downloadhelper" Firefox extension as its updated frequently and new sites are added often.

but i think in some sites

u have to wait till its start to buffer only not till it load it all

just when u see that they start buffering u can go click Tools>page info> and select the media u want Or right click on it and select copy file location

Can you confirm the methods in the first post no longer work?

Even if it's a 2005 thread, if the information holds valid, a n00b bump like that can help others spot this.

does you trying to say he is visually challenged and cant read couple of earlier post specially post number 50 - 60 ?
if same thing apply every where then we should edit/bump all oldest thread and update everything..

My intention is to tell the bumper to use "search function" and limits his emotion .

I have long wondered about this but never took the time to do a search since it wasn't a pressing matter for me. This is an interesting thread and I wouldn't have noticed it if it wasn't bumped ... but than again, I'm just a n00b too ...

won't work for youtube. u need an app for that like free save2pc.
