My favourite lager is Stella, Grolsch runs it a close second. If it has to be bottled then Kronenbourg is teh roka.
Stella has begun to catch on a bit in the US. 2 years ago, no one had ever heard of it over here, but now you can find it in some of the bars that have 50 beers on tap. It's ok I guess - had it a couple times :)
Don't like the glass it comes in though. Feels like a wine glass. :ermm:

Re: Favourite beer? What's yours then?
I've started drinking Carling instead of Stella since I originally posted in this thread. I was experiencing severe memory lapsage, so I decided to drink sommat else at the pub.
Didn't help but I'm used to Carling now :emo:

Re: Favourite beer? What's yours then?
Stella = "Acts a Twat", "Wife Beater"
Carling ="Safety"
There's a reason why these beers have these nicknames.

Re: Favourite beer? What's yours then?
I'll chip in agreeing that Stella is okay...but when I want to kick my feet up and relax, I like to have a Harp in my hand.
If we're dealing with binge drinking, I'm thinking more along the lines of Miller/Coors Light.

Donno, Molson Canadianian and Bud are the only beers I've tried.
And some shitass french beer that I got in Quebec, but that shit doesn't count.

Moose Drool is our Brown Ale. Far and away the best selling beer brewed in Montana, Moose Drool is chocolate brown in color with a creamy texture. Our brown ale is a malty beer with just enough hop presence to keep it from being too sweet. The aroma also mostly comes from the malt with a hint of spiciness being added by the hops. Moose Drool is brewed with pale, caramel, chocolate, and whole black malts; and Kent Goldings, Liberty, and Willamette hops. It has an original gravity of 13 degrees Plato, and is 4.2% alcohol by weight, 5.3% by volume.
Yum!

It still tastes like sick
When I went away on a rugby tour a couple of summers ago (I don't play, no beef hooked - could get hurt), everyone had to drink pints of Guinness with a shot of Tia Maria in it.
Two drinks that taste like sick combined in a glass. Rugby boys are mental ... and a bit gay, if I'm honest. There's the Tia Maria thing and the fact that every drinking game seems to involve taking all your clothes off if you lose.
Wtf :ermm:
Footie tours > rugby tours.
