A trio of idiots, inept beyond belief, actually manage to kidnap the son of Frank Sinatra.
William H. Macy plays a character he might as well patent by now, the bumbling loser best personified by Jerry Lundegaard in Fargo.
Crime was certainly much simpler in those days.
After watching the film I wikied the kidnapping.
The real story is just as bizarre as the movie.
The trio's ringleader was sentenced to life plus 75 years but was paroled after only 4 1/2 years.
Hell, these days you can serve longer for jaywalking.
