I did a quick check in the bios for temps looks like between 32 and 35 for the CPU. The fan speed seem to have no effect on the temp at all. Should it? BIOS temp is irrelevant.
Use RealTemp and perform the calibration.
Link for realtemp?? I used occt today and got 33 idle and 44 under load. I do have the 6600 oc'd to 3.0 though. God I wish I had more time to finish this damn thing, but I refuse to rush it and not be happy with the results.

The developer, Kevin, has worked tirelessly to perfect this app and as far as I'm concerned it's the best thing to use on your Intel chip.
On a side note, I provided him with the copy of Vista he used for development.
