Only 48 More Hours.....

Holy crap. Winamp's website must be getting slammed. It's so slooooowwww... and I can't get past the front page, because the server doesn't respond.

I can't even download it from BetaNews. Hah.

I didnt take any chances on the install of winamp5.
I uninstalled the older version first; manually restarted (just to make sure B) ); then installed the Dec. 12th version and its been running all day with no problems.
I even skinned the suxa' :alien:

btw, how can you tell the 12-12 version from the other??

Check the bottom on the "About Winamp" box. The official final will say "Dec 14 2003".

if you go to Winamp 5 the site has been updated and the true final is out. 15/12 build date.

edit - apologies, it still says 14th Dec in the about box, but the installer at the start says the 15th, whereas the last one before the site was updated said the 14th.
