For the first time in my life, I've got pretty good insurance. The total cost is still rising, but it will be $200k+, including my 1-week return visit due to Acute Respiratory Failure. Our out of pocket expense will be approx. $4k. For once, I feel like I'm ahead of the game when it comes to insurance-- a lifetime of paying in, no previous benefits...
The hospital I went to has been the #2 heart institute in the country for several years-- I believe that has drawn a significant group of talented doctors. They saw us through my wife's breast cancer, as well as my son's heart valve replacements. Good hands.
Best news I've heard in a while my friend. :)

How soon will you be moving forward with this endoskeleton work?
Winter, depends on how soon I finish MA thesis. Either December 2018 or early 2019

Had to go back to see if you'd mentioned your thesis/schooling before. Have you made it to your 4th paragraph yet?
Mine has stalled out due to med issues, lack of motivation, and struggling to clear my head. Life....

Get some medical marijuana to clear your head. It might even inspire you.
Re: New Legs For Meg And Re-schmuck Canada Fund. Unite and Make More Matter Mean More
My state allows it without 'medical' reasons. :01:

I've got 55 pages at this point (need 125) but have kind of gone back to the start since I hadn't thought the methodology/investigative path through properly.
This is the most challenging/daunting intellectual task I have ever faced, without question.
Do you think you'll get back to yours eventually?

I have something like that coming up ,
What is your primary research methodology :stars:
Re: New Legs For Meg And Re-schmuck Canada Fund. Unite and Make More Matter Mean More
I will, most likely very soon-ish. Congrats on what you've done so far! This is actually my 2nd thesis (different program), but any advantage of "I've done this before" is lost in the previously mentioned life issues.
What did you study as an undergrad?
Edit-- when I saw structures and engineering in your book title, I was thinking you were focused on Engineering. Seems you have an *entirely* different area of study.
