This CZone discussion is actually a good reason for some ground rules that should be used on all trackers listed here. I'm not sure that very strict rules will work but changes should at least be done proportionally. For example: a tracker that closes signups after being open for a long time needs to climb the levels slower than another one that opened signups for only a short period of time. What's currently missing is the number of available invites relative to the total number of users (& the number of available slots too) in order to better guess each tracker's level individually.
Maybe it's too complicated, maybe it needs too much effort to really work but it would not only be fairer but more accurate because opinions from other users in this thread would be suggestions and not set changes like it has been in the past sometimes.
On a complete different topic: I'd very much enjoy a feature that sort of predicts the future developments on trackers. This sounds pretty impossible too but I'm only thinking about how upcoming changes on the tracker might impact its rating here, a mere outlook could help users in their decision if they'd better go for a tracker now or if waiting is the better alternative.
fsce is not a tracker so it's not on the listQuote:

I don't really know all that much detail about waffles as I haven't made an effort to sign up there, but both the total number of users and the number of available invites is clearly different between waffles and what. That should be a clear indication for different levels, ie:
waffles.fm (level 4)
what.cd (level 3)
About STMusic: all invites have been stripped and will only be available to users upon promotion or when a donation is made (don't know explicite details on that but I've read that on the forums). Level 3 would look good for a start with a possibility to climb over time if the invite system stays this way.
CZone can start out with level 2 but it should go up to 3 within the next two weeks or so. The immediate aftermath of trading fresh accounts should be over by then.
waffles and what.cd lvl 2 now we can see a lot of giveaways.
