I got into the scene in '94, I ran an Oblivion/2 board for a couple years and then switched to irc/ftp once things went to the internet. Haven't been active in the scene in several years, but I put my time in back in the day. It's interesting to see how things have evolved, like bittorrent, etc. I was skeptical if the scene would remain hip when it moved to www. I remember warezwaldo.com, where you would have to click on 20 porn banners before you could get the site password, many sites were in the same veign. That said, the current torrent/invite www scene seems like it works well. I'm also into pro-audio and music related stuff, what up to the fellow Reason/Ableton live users out there.

I am Chrisgaff100 and I live in a city called Cairns in Australia (Far North Queensland) which at this moment in preparing to be hit by a catogory 5 cyclone with winds of 300 km per hour. About the same as Katrina in the south US.
