Re: check out this ANOREXIA forum.
There is nothing in someone with an eating disorder to glorify. By your own admission you have to a certain extent suffered from depression and compulsive overeating. Not to mention an addiction to exersise. All of which point to a problem with your self esteem and poor self image. I would have thought you would be more sympathetic to those who have developed serious and life threatening illnesses. So, they are mental illnesses but as I have mentioned before, grounded in the physical, and as serious as physical illness too. Sufferers often face such ignorance as that which you portray and it really does not help.

Enablers don't help either. I believe in tough love first and foremost.
Me being depressed, eating too much, and working out to hard all were fixed by myself.
Tbh, the depression just went away. I just cryed myself out.
The overeating will actually come back sans the sweets 'cause Im worried about diabetes (even though the greatest chance of that comes from genetics). When I get back to running around like I used to, I'll eat the same.
The over-exercising was an accident just like when my cousin tore a bicep.
Once I realized what was going on. I chilled the hell out.
I think it's important early on for a person to surround themselves with more than one thing they like to do. The only poor self-image I have is the fact that I should have taken my music more seriously. I could be filthy rich right now. Some of my friends are and have been pleading for my music for awhile and I've been holding on to it like a dumbass.
People need to find things they like to do...healthy things. They can go to those things when there are "problems".
Having a family now will change that since I want more money to support them. The thing is, it's also a lifestyle change somewhat because it involves being in the clubs a bit and around unsavory characters that I've done my best to stay away from.
Re: check out this ANOREXIA forum.
Good luck to you.
The point I was making is that if you have been through shit yourself, you know how hard it can be. There are things in life that you don't have to understand to show compassion over. You may not understand eating disorders but it doesn't give you the right to judge the sufferers. Understanding and compassion is not the same as condoning or enabling.

If a sufferer were to see what we are writing here, I wouldn't want them to see sympathy for their situation.
There actions or inactions should be seen as deplorable and if anything, solutions should be offered.
I don't look at it thesame way as you do.
Re: check out this ANOREXIA forum.
I do not expect you to offer sympathy. It is obvious you are incapable of looking beyond your own inflexible viewpoint to acknowledge that you do not understand the situations of sufferers. Compassion without understanding is possible and compassion towards those who are suffering is human. You do not have to understand what they are going through to recognise their pain. You are so fixated on being right that you do not bother to listen or reason. Yet you expect people to have sympathy for your situation. You really are laughable.
Sufferers, ex-sufferers, and those who DO have some compassion HAVE seen what has been written here. Do you enjoy taunting those in pain? Here. My legs are broken. Why don't you stamp on them.

If you laid out in the middle of the street and a car ran over your legs, I'd think you an idiot. If you basked in the glory of your broken legs I'd lmao.....especially since you come off as an intelligent person.
I never expect sympathy on here. Hell when one of my friends died of a heart attack in front of me on the b-ball court and there was much laughter when I mentioned it here. If this laughter was in front me I'd probably cave their face in but nevertheless it's on here. Then again I wouldn't tell such things to a stranger in real life. I am but an IP address that could fade away.....yet I wouldn't be dead.
Oh well.

haha love the pic!
Busyman, I think I speak for EVERYONE when I say shut up. Your view is wrong. Stop trying to put it across like it's right or even normal.
