To be honest that will be the shows downfall. I love it to death, but have watched it from the beginning. Newcomers will find it hard to like the show and thus ratings can only drop imo.*

X-Files suffered from this as well. That's why mediocre shows like Star Trek and Stargate do so well, they only require a very basic previous knowledge of what is going on.

Ive read rumors that lost is predicted to go for 6 years! Personally I hope not, don't get me wrong I love the show but I think that after 2 seasons it will start to lose it, I mean how many more characters can they add, hopefully not with another plane crash

Well, at some point they will meet the survivors of the tail-section. That will add more characters. I do wonder if they will keep the flashback sequences going if they go over two seasons though.

I've heard they planned for six series as well, hopefully that is what happens and my pessimistic predictions doesn't occur.

6 seasons, WOW :unsure: I love the show, but 6 seasons seems a little unrealistic.
The writers of LOST are very good, I just hope they are good enough to write for six seasons with out making the show so unrealistic and unbearable to watch. :frusty: :frusty:

Anyway the last episode (#21) was nothing special but we did learn a little more about Sayid’s past life, and we did find out who hit Sayid in the head when he was up on the mountain trying to get a signal.

I always thought it was Locke but hell I initially thought he burned the raft too.

I figured he wanted to stay on the island because he had his legs working.

Also think that there will be new survivors in the next season. (some spoiler of the upcomming episodes said something bout that)
