I'm disgusted, gentlemen. I hadn't even considered the fringes of the extent of mod powers. Seems nobody else did either.
Why haven't the Welsh conquered the world already.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Right, this time I'm really going to go sleep for reals. It has been too many late nights, and getting out of bed is getting to be a bother.
For some reason my coding gets better, tho.

We're too busy listening to Geordie cawk-smugglers.
It's the only hindrance, I'm sure.

About your yellow pants thing, so you are an immigrant then?

Well he would be the anti-christ if the mark of the beast was huge ears instead of 666, sadly he is just confused and in danger of being blown away in high winds.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Close enough! At least you've remembered something for days :01:
-=-=-
Just sorted an error I've been chasing for days.
Prob is, I did it by removing one line of code, and thus far idfk what it's even meant to do, or rather what the id it injects is meant to do. Some speshul person added it years ago, and there's zero documentation.
This probably means I'll have to spend hours doing tests and tracing my way through half the system.

Lulz, I can't look at an intervjew b3ta did with kuntandthegang, on account of it being adult content, according to the company firewall.

Hoi!
Hmmm, you're right. Bummer :dabs:
In my defence, I think the avatar pre-dated the background...
EDIT: Jesus, all the smilies are fucked too.

I thought Bo did my avatar.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
This whole site looks terrible in stealth, the only reason I use it is because the other theme is too sunny a disposition for my tastes, I prefer the rugged clash of incongruity.

You need to plug the stuff in and not leave gaps, like.
Also :-

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Something is lost on me, what purpose would an amp serve for a digital signal?!?

If it is working fine now then introducing the amp will not change things. A couple of questions though, what is the amp (make/model) and how far away is the 2nd TV?
edit: There is a method to my madness in asking the questions, if it is a modern amp you can use the amp to switch sources via the comfort of it's remote control and then use the splitter to switch between the two TV's, although at that point you could simply put in an HDMI repeater instead.

that would be a good idea but I only want the amp and speakers on the one tv. I did stick the amp in as I planned and it's all working fine.
i'm not sure on the amp model and i'm far too whopped to check at the moment
edit: it's a yamaha dsp-ax861se

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
An old axiom that I strongly believe is 'if it is working don't fix it' so sweet that it is up and running.
My suggestion was just a way of simplifying the input selection by running the inputs through the receiver/amp. The output from the amp passes both audio and video through so you can have the 5.1 hometheater throbnobulating for TV1 and have the gay little TV speakers on TV2.

I can see your point, like, but it's working and i'm happy as is.

Nobody answered my question, what's with the amp?

I'm pretty sure he's referring to a receiver, not a separate power amp.

Your question was pedantic, I thought it was another joke regarding slightly incorrect terms, in this case bo called his receiver an amp which is a throwback to the days when you had a separate amplifier for your stereo instead of an integrated receiver.

I've got a room with separates for the surround sound processor and 4 individual amps for the 7 channels. I have to admit the newer amps that are now designed to run all of the channels in DD/DTS are can be quite capable of doing the job. The prices are amazingly reasonable for what you get. Mid-line or better Onkyo is eerily good for the money...
All-in-one is VASTLY more user-friendly, too.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
I can't get my pc to output anything other than stereo. I've got a gtx 465 which is supposed to do 5.1 through hdmi (according to google) but windows (7 x64) isn't recognising my receiver and seems to think the hdmi cable is plugged straight into the tv (hence it only allowing stereo).
Any suggestions?

I forgot that I do shit like that, but this one happened to be a genuine puzzler. I have never owned a home theater receiver in my life, thus I would have never associated the two terms.

Re: Last one to post wins the internets
Been watching the new iPad unveiling. Looking pretty awesome.
2048 x 1536 "Retina" screen. 3.1 million pixels on a 10" screen.
A5X processor, quad-core graphics.
5-megapixel camera on the back which has 1080p recording capabilities.
Siri.
4G LTE! :O
No price increase.

Start a hardware thread? I'm ignorant when it comes to this sound related stuff.
