Makes clear sam4 is obviously missed by those whom post here regularly.

I&#39;ll speak up on the matter, but I&#39;m only giving my own opinions here. I voted against the ban, but I didn&#39;t get involved in the discussion because as he is a friend, my "impartiality" comes into question. I don&#39;t feel it was necessary to ban him, a long moderation perhaps, to see if he could get himself under control - which he has - if you look at the situation, he could have created numerous accounts over the past week to be able to post - he didn&#39;t do that, he has been slilent since his suspension. He created only one when his account was first suspended so that he could find out what happened. You can&#39;t PM with a suspended account, or even log in, so in order to do that he didn&#39;t have a choice but to create a new account.

But again, as I talk to him quite frequently via other venues, and I do consider him to be a friend, I thought best that after giving my initial views I should remain quiet while the discussion was ongoing.

yeah I seen that, didn&#39;t seem too much of a problem .. just a bit unecessary. I suppose the subsequent ban is for something petty like circumvention of the moderation <_<

I think that&#39;s an excellent post with so many pertinent points. presented more eloquently than has been written thus far too.

I realise that it happened but I can&#39;t imagine anyone, moderator or not, voting to permanently ban Sam4 :huh:

To be fair to Ad it was 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.

And as far as I know they both spoke together on slsk and there is no hard feeling between them. It was one of those silly arguments we are all guilty of from time to time. (That particular incident).
