What is the latest movie you watched and what did you think of it?

The Last House On The Left

Finally after many years got round to watching Dustin Hoffman in Sphere. It was a bit pish but not nearly as bad as I had been led to believe.

Im not there. I was expecting more but still a great movie.

Barry Levinson is a good, borerline great director but he wouldn't know pace if it jumped up and bit him in the ass.

For a somewhat similar film . The Abyss . James Cameron .
Now here is a guy that when it comes to action gets the job done.

Also includes one scene that has stuck in my mind like few others ever have.

Galaxy Quest

A great Sci Fi comedy (making fun of Star Trek). Imo it was better than Space Balls.

I actually liked Galaxy Quest a lot. Managed to be a sendup and pretty exciting at the same time. Very hard to accomplish that. Course it always helps to have some great actors ( Tim Allen notwithstanding) helping out.

Yeah. Most comedies go for 2 hours of laugning. No ordinary person does that. Here there was a story. A funny one but still it was not laughs all the time.

PS: The effects were cool and the bad guys really looked great!

It's been a while since I've watched any movies. :unsure:

BTW, Galaxy Quest was a pretty funny movie, but my DVD player kept freezing (my DVD player sucked). :wacko:
