Prediction: ChronicTracker will merge into Scenetorrents

If you don't like what you think the donation money is being spent on, don't donate and then if they are making profit from it, you don't have to worry because you aren't being deceived. They don't force you to give them money.

And as for the merge, bring it on. Taking the best aspects of both sites can only be a good thing for us, the users. But yeah, the way the ScT staff are trying to keep this low profile is fucking lame, as soon as this shit started, they should have said "Yes/No the rumours are/aren't true..." and so on.

If the merge goes ahead (which looks most likely, I mean why use €150 of backup funds for something that's still up in the air?), yay, it can only benefit us users taking the best aspects of the two and combining them.

Oh, and Brandon, if you really do have the proof you say you do for the ScT staff making profit, where is it? :ermm:

The merge is not going ahead, as kimii already stated. Staff from both sites discussed the possibilty. Why would either site announce a merge that hadn't been agreed upon? Did it ever occur to anyone that you don't send out wedding invitations just because you're going on a date?

I'm a member of CT but not ScT and I'm somewhat glad about those news. Whatever reasons there were for a merge, the only one I would've been interested in was more users on the tracker. Then again, the same could be achieved with a larger number of active users as well (because it's a sad reality that the number of seeders compared to the number of users is so small).

For whatever reasons you guys have been sniping at each other, at least now you can take a step back and slow down ;)

Because of this shit someone from ScT (probably) leaked Brandons details on the net, leading to his withdrawal from FTN. This only proves Brandon was right, they couldn't fight back so they hit him under the belt. This is indeed a shitty situation, there is a topic about him stepping down on fst.
