Nice , and its released by Vengeance , a.k.a formerly Deviance . I'll definetly try downloading it , btw bawa can i load my save game file from previous cracked version of HL2 releases on this Vengeance one ?

yeh u can, just copy same save files in "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\User\Half-Life 2\hl2\SAVE"

So, after playing HL2 which looks and feels like a cool game,
I have desided not to buy the game. Atleast not before the Steam is
pulled off from it.

I know that in the future I will not have the Net so I couldnt possible play the game anyways,
if it needs to be activated over internet. Im going to move out of this
house (one of these days) and lose the internet.

which had a link to the SteamWatch forums.

I do not like the Steam part of the HL2. Its useless when it comes to Piracy issues
and its EULA is from arse.
Too bad since it looks like a nice game.

I downloaded the deviance version of hl2, i installed it and i applied all neccesary crack from the vengeance folder , but when i go to open the game , it opens the steam program. is this supposed to happen with this version ? im just a bit worried cause valve could easily detect my account/ip then delete it...
