Let me break it down for you.
England were better in the first half.
Sweden were better in the second half.
A draw was a fair result, however if you had to pick a winner it was Sweden.
Cole's goal was sublime and moreso because it was totally meant. Not just a big dig.
Rooney never kicked a ball and is totally not match fit.
The Canadian lad played really well and deserves to stay in the Team.
Gerrard is still England's best player and should always play - attacking midfield.
England should now go to 4-3-3 / 4-5-1. That's how all the best teams play now.
Sven is not a good International manager and England's players have done what they have in spite of him.
McLaren will change fuck all, well fuck all meaningful.
Any questions just axe.
You forgot to add that the grass they played on was green.

And yet he is still the best manager England have had since Venables and is better than his successor. Oh dear.

They wanted the truth but they couldn't handle the truth.
It's a common theme amongst Giggs fanciers :smilie4:

Contrary to your earlier statement, the African teams have had an awful World Cup. No dead rubber victory against a team that is in total disarray, both in a footballing sense after the drubbing they got from Argentina and because their country is in the process of splitting up and the players, coach and administration have been at loggerheads since before the tournament started - oh, and they their best player didn't manage a single minute of football thro' injury and suspension.
Did you notice that earlier in the day, that due to their creditable draw against a half decent Mexico team, Angola could have qualified if only they'd beaten the mighty Iran? Well, if you had, you'd realise that their overall performance was far better than that of the Ivory Coast.
Re: FIFA World Cup 2006 - Germany
They should reduce the number of African teams in the tournament due to their poor performances. The Oceanic group still does not have a proper qualifying berth (which is why Australia have moved to the Asian qualifiers for next time), they should give the Oceanics one of the African places.
Re: FIFA World Cup 2006 - Germany
Yeah but Australia beat everyone 12-0 while playing in the Oceania group :dabs:
The Oceania teams should merge in with the Asia qualifying zone (since Oceania/Australasia isn't a proper continent anyhow) and then the Asia zone can have the extra qualifying berth in lieu of one of the African teams.
Also, they should merge the CONCACAF with the South American zone. Mexico and the US always qualifying by beating teams like Alaska really pisses me off
