None of the above. I prefer DrWEB Antivirus Software.
Norton AntiVirus 2009 Gaming Edition is good does not drain your cpu power and good and effictive
Eset smart security is so good for me
Nod32 FTW ~ :naughty:
I'm trying out Kaspersky's Internet Security 2009 but I may end up switching to NOD32. I can't get Kaspersky to complete a full scan, it keeps locking up :(
Edit: Fixed my full scan problem, apparently it doesn't handle multi-part RAR files too well. I may keep it after all.
AVG internet security ! great
So far I have found no security software comparable to kespersky.
That is from my own experience with the software. Just conduct an experiment. First run AVG scan on a system and then after that kespersky. You would yourself see how many viruses left by AVG would be found by kespersky.
I use F-secure 7.12
Eset nod32..
NOD32 v3.xx for my powerful PCs, and
NOD32 v2.xx for my older PCs...
nod32, simply it's light and useful.

the processes:
avgcc.exe 308k
avgemc.exe 960k
avgupsvc.exe 1,008k
avgamsvr.exe 504k

you may be right -> but running an cheap system (means a system that doesnt need ~1Gb of ram anytime) especially when you run a linux system with an well build kernel --> you should be fine with about 512mb of ram so on the system is cheap quite AND fast without 3gb of rams
thinking of vista and resources makes me :w00t:
