I'm not really having a go at you, maebach, but I noticed a thread a while ago with idiots laughing at him for being 'emo' but also being 'desi'. I forgot about it til now.
I think that having a preconception that people of a certain ethnic background shouldn't be able to do or shouldn't be particular things is ignorant at best.
Isn't "desi" a derogatory racist term, or have I picked that up wrong somewhere.
I'm not trying to make fun of him, it's just all the 'desi's' here try to act like thugs, and because I wear Polo, Hilfiger and Chaps I'm considered 'white'. So it's nice you could say for me to see that there are different kinds of desis.
BTW: To clarify:
Desi to Indian people is like black people calling each other nigga.That's the best example I can think of.
