What is the largest thing you downloaded on dialup

1st real thing i downloaded was zelda ocarina of time n64 rom off kazaa using dialup. took me a couple hours to download 20 mb

about 2 gigs for the suse 8.0 iso's only to find my modem would not work with suse :frusty:

It must have taken a few weeks with bt cutting my connection every 2 hours :angry:

That must suck. The game i got atleast worked for me. :D

Largest file I downloaded on Dial-up was like 350MB's... I remember it was for Adobe Photoshop, I don't remember the version, but it was before I discovered K-Lite, and was downloading directly from some site I found on astalavista. Took me like 2 weeks because my connection liked to hangup every couple of hours or so... I had to get a program called smart download, that would save my place in download if I were disconnected. :( Horrible memories...

I donwloaded a 600 MB movie called EBRACE OF THE VAMPIRE on kaazaa. I was not regular so it took about one month.

what was your maximum download speed on that connection.

like 4-5 kb. I wasnt downloading while i was in school though but from liek 3pm-nighttiime and more.
