couldn't agree more, except for rap, that just doesnt count imo. hell i might not like country all together, but there are some really good country songs out there, not mainstream mind you.

Under "other", I include solo, virtuoso instrumental type stuff, like Leo Kottke, Dean Peer, etc.

Some other stuff absolutely defies catagorization, too.
