it doesn`t matter the reason of the ban, bitme rule #1 : 1 acct for 1 person
if you have problems with your account go to the irc help channel and don`t put in danger other ppl. it is forbidden to invite banned ppl to bitme , i.e. inviting banned pl resluts in banning those who gave the invites.

There is a big difference between having your account disabled and being banned.
I've invited 4 to BitMe so far and of those, 3 accounts are already disabled. One for a proxied IP (whose cable company wouldn't change it) and 2 for their ratio. Both the people whose ratio was just under the requirement of 0.65 had tried to seed back but to no avail. As far as I am concerned they tried their best....they just should have been more selective in what they downloaded.
But they weren't banned just disabled. The proxy could have his account back if he could change to a static IP and the other 2 could donate to buy extra gigs to have theirs back.

ok, my mistake there are no banned users on bitme, just disabled.
one may be disabled for cheating for not using account, for low ratio, for uploading bad torrents etc. so no bans, just disabling.
and saifamr has not been disabled for proxy. really.
and a little secret : disabled user may be re-enabled, for example if he disabled because of low ratio, and couldn`t get 0.65 , but got 0.63, i think they will give him another chance, they are very fair.
anyway, inviting disabled person (even if he was disabled for not using account) will cause both person to be disabled. (these rules apply on oink and bitmetv too) .
that`s all, don`t want to speak about bitme, i don`t care about them, i just care about those honest ppl that gives invites to ppl, while those ppl give their accounts to another unknown ppl.
