For No Particular Reason

Kez has got to be one of the most memorable books from when i was a kid,could`ve even been the first one. Great book though!!! :D

First book I remember liking was Pookie...about a fairy rabbit....I read it when I was about 6 or so.....

I've read that too, and watched the film. Made me cry :'(

there are so many books and films that make me cry...
RF gave me this book from Richard Feist, called 'honoured enemy' and I cried every time someone died! (ok, yes, I did have my period, so what???).

First book I loved was about a rabbit as well - Sonny the Lucky Bunny - I still have it, still love to read it to my daughter, as she loves it too.

The first real book I really loved, though, was Where the Red Fern Grows. I get a tear in my eye still whenever I think about it....a boy and his dogs...:'(

I&#39;ve never really been encouraged to read cos my family aren&#39;t that big on reading (i mean my dad&#39;s practiacally illiterate&#33;), but beleive it or not i started reading properly when i was about 12 - I discovered Harry Potter&#33;

since then, I&#39;ve read all of the Harry potter books, Charlottes web, The Hobbit, Lord of The rings, alan Spence&#39;s Way to go, Frank McCourt&#39;s Angela&#39;s Ashes and &#39;Tis, Stupid White men, Steven King books, a whole load of other obscure books and I&#39;m going to read 4 Discworld books when I&#39;m on holiday next month.

It may sound like a pretty crappy list, but I&#39;m proud of it&#33; No-one taught me how to read till i was 5, so I was a bit slower with reading.

And yes Skweeky is a nutcase - but we love her anyway&#33; :lol:

Weemouse, you seem to be into the same books as I am. Of course you should be proud, I am. Everyone as differant tastes.
