At first i thought i agreed with The Knife Thrower (why such fu*kin ridiculous names) but if there were no sigs this board would look so bland, they brighten the place up.

yup! it would be less fun without sigs and avatars. especially the moving ones!! they really makes the board look hot and cool!
I now realise that avatars should not be limited to too low a size. Even though we can get animated avatars to a size of 2.82kb I don't want people to be forced to use something like this:
