Because there haven't been any uTorrent releases (even beta) in a long, long time. And also the fact that ludde sold out to BitTorrent, Inc. and hasn't posted in his forum for more than half a year, etc.

Ludde did not work on this new version. The chaps at Bittorrent have taken over all the development work(the mods at utorrent.com have admitted to this themselves). No wonder the new build keeps crashing.
