Heres my tip. Remove the PCI Network Card. Place it into a different PCI slot. Then start up the computer, and then just set it up as if you had only just recieved it.

I dont use a PCI card to connect to network.
I use my USB ports to use my usb adapter.
I'm pretty desperate now.
the only thing i can think of that will fix it for sure is to reformat HD
and reinstall everything. I will have to lose all my dl's sinnce i
dont have anything to backup my stuff with.

try updating the drivers for the usb adapter if it has any?
I tried reinstalling the adapter and that didnt work.
i cant connect to the internet so i really cant get new
driver updates for my adapter.
