i assumed the time machine was one way - you did'nt, so were both correct in our own minds as usual, i think you have problems accepting people are different.

I think you were thinking of a time portal, such as in Star Trek's The City on the Edge of Forever, or like in Primeval.

Everyone else was thinking of a time machine, such as the TARDIS.
