Re: Should I keep It Online?
Yeah but how do you use it.
Re: Should I keep It Online?
That's simple. First though, one needs to download a client. One very similar to the SoulSeek client, is Lopster. It has similar complete folder downloading capabilities and can be extremely fast, if one allows it's to multi-source. The interface is fairly user friendly and if you are used to SoulSeek, it's a walk over. It has also IRC functionality and is basically rooted in Linux..
I have created a visual guide for it. Here...

It's all free. What is on offer ? A modest number of privately run networks of file-sharing servers. where you can download, films, mp3, E-Books, CD images applications and more. One may also create private custom chat channels (on FST network) or just join the main chat or not...
The Lopster client has also it's own help and development forum here http://lopster.sourceforge.net/ and is open-sourced
The only downside I can think of is... you might meet me :)
Re: Should I keep It Online?
Meeting you would be a bonus mate.

I've downloaded the program and installed it. Tried to use your guide, but the phoaties aren't there so I'm struggling to get it set up properly.
I'm probably missing something really obvious, as you know I'm shite at setting things up if they involve any actual thinking.
