some body help with fedora which client should i use.
i think rtorrent doesnt work with ubuntu because i amtrying to install it even after installation it says can't able to load share libraries
I suggest that u use Deluge. It's clean, does what it suppose to do. Easy to configure. And overall a nice program. Used different torrent programs before. But Deluge is just the best of torrent programs for linux out there.
Agreed, deluge is great and getting better. Maybe it used to be banned from private trackers, but all of the sites I currently use accept the latest stable version. It's very low memory/cpu intensive, even with 100s of torrents all seeding. I feel like it has all the important features down. The WebUi plugin is critical if you want to remotely manage torrents.
I used rtorrent awhile back. It's great, but I found the command line interface a bit annoying. It limits the features a bit, but mostly I can't remember all of the keyboard shortcuts and had to regularly look them up.
Deluge is my choice too. On OS X there's a nice client named Transmission too, which also has a version for linux (ubuntu), so maybe it's worth a try too :)
I used to use Azureus before I was converted to Deluge, mostly because of the java backend Azureus uses .. it's so g*ddamn heavy on the system..
Hope you find what you're looking for, and happy sharing ;)
