Tom Fordyce, the funny guy who did the cricket updates on BBCi, is now doing the same for Henman's tennis match (see above)
Read up from the bottom. Fuckin' hilarious  :earl:

Ok, he's English and good to see the support, but every year, a load middle-class, middle-aged women going mental for him alongside a bunch of upper-class public school students called Tarquin and Tenpenny, as if they genuinely believe he will win.
COme on Federer, and come on the sun so the hot ladies were less.
Again though, tennis is a little bit more exciting than table-tennis, if not for less of repetitive strain injuries in th neck.
I usually watch some Wimbeldon every year. I don't have HBO anymore so if I watch any it'll be while I'm on vacation.
I can't believe folks are saying Wimbeldon isn't exciting. I mean it's gotta be more exciting than the darts championship.

You think darts is more exciting than tennis?
I never sit and watch the whole thing and I never watch the men.
When Sharapova, Venus, or Serena play I try to watch if I can. It's no big deal though.
I took tennis lessons when I was younger too.:snooty:

TBH, I never watch either. I find them boring as hell.
Re: Your Wimbledon Picks.
An aside, like:
I was gonna do a whole stupid stereotype joke-thing to see who I could tick off, but I sort of lost momentum. Found this (though it's not much to do with tennis if anything at all). It's interesting both 'cos the quoted bits are kewl, and 'cos the guy talking about it pwns himself a whole lot.
